TLC Biopic Movie coming to VH-1 this fall

TLC I love them so much having an opportunity to grow up with the female empowering group there is literally video of me in 1992 rapping and dancing  on my sixth birthday to  Lisa Nicole "Left-Eye'"s Lopes's ( May 27, 1971 to April 25, 2002)  part that I have on video. So I dedicate this blog entry to her as well.

So back to the group right has opened doors for a lot of major female groups of the 1990s and 2000s all ready. They fought for controversial topics such as AIDS/HIV Awareness and Practicing Safe sex as well. The group started in 1991 formed by Perry "Pebbles" Reid former wife of music mogul and co-founder, L.A. Reid of LaFace Records. The group which consists of Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, and the late, Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes were a group who was formed to inspire and change the masses, with hit songs like "Baby,Baby,Baby", "Ain't 2 Proud to Beg", "Red Light Special", "Creep", "Diggin' On You", "No Scrubs", "Silly Ho"  "Girls Talk", "Unpretty".    They have had so many hits, #1 hits, won awards from songwriting, AMAs,  and so much more, across the board,  success it has been astounding. They also did films as well does anyone remember "House Party 3" with them starring as "Sex as a Deadly Weapon" with Immature, and of course Chilli, "What Chilli Wants" with her television show on VH-1. They have proven they are triple threats and can have solo success as well.
The two remaining  group members of TLC

Now we get a chance to find out the real story, we all have been apart of their lives, each woman has had solo success in television, music, film, and have achieved success worldwide overseas all over the world. It is finally time for them to tell the story about how they each achieved success with all of the obstacles that were thrown their way, they finally get a chance to shed light on what really happened, and now the puzzle becomes complete. I think it is appropriate especially after 11 years since the passing of the multi-talented, ambitious, driven, spunky, creative, and flamboyant, "Left-Eye"she had an energy in her music that made you even want to be her. She can rap and spit a verse so fast you wouldn't know what she was hitting you with right away. There is a rumor actually that one of the cast members may be replacing Left- Eye but I will wait for confirmation for that story. "Crazy, Sexy, Cool" the film is starring Drew Sidora (Step Up, The Game, Motives 2), Keke Palmer (Akeelah & the Bee, Madea's Family Reunion, Joyful Noise, Ice Age 2), and hip-hop artist, remember "Lip Gloss", Niatia "Lil' Mama" Kirkland
See the striking resemblance of the trio "Drew Sidora" (T-Boz), Keke Palmer ("Chilli"), and Lil'Mama  ("Lisa Left-Eye Lopes")
The film is starring Drew Sidora as the T in TLC playing (Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins), Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes played by Lil'Mama who has a strikingly resemblance to the late singer and the same spirit and energy of Lisa., and Keke Palmer starring as the ever sweet, cool, and sexy, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. The group collectively all had major appeal that crossover to all generations of people and walks of life. It's amazing how many can identify and love each of the members of the group and find them relatable.

The film for VH-1 will debut this fall, October 22, 2013.  I have a clip for all of my readers who haven't had a chance to watch just yet. Click below and follow the link.

"Soulful Songbird" & "Handsomeness": Can you have two loves in your life?

"If you love two people at the same time, choose the second. Because if you really loved the first one, you wouldn't have fallen for the second.”

― Johnny Depp

Aside from loving my industry, loving home-cooked food and meals, shopping, watching a fun television show, family,  listening to a new song that can hit your soul. I also believe I have realized I have two loves of my life actually. I am so in love with with these two people it hurts but I move forward every day believing and knowing I will find the person for me but at the same time it's kind of making things difficult when you have constant reminders every single day about someone you had to let go. Or who may have let you go. I believe I have two loves of my life i I realize yes I am attracted to driven, goal-oriented, confident, attractive, funny, athletic men, who happen to have tattoos lol!

It hurts a lot when you're not with these people all you want to do is share your life with them, be with them, spend time with them, even when you're doing the most simplest thing. I am trying to move forward but part of my heart and head is like "You know damn well you still aren't over this completely". Part of me I try to tell myself there is more, there's more to consider. You have to get back to dating again yes. I am....slowly I am like that caterpillar in the cocoon slowly wanting to come out and transform into the butterfly. Or a beautiful building being created but there's just a blueprint. Believe me I am going to get there but it's a matter of being honest with yourself. I cannot deny when I am away from this person yes I can move on and move forward but at the same time. I still need this person. Apart of me always knows in the back of my mind I still do want this person too. I mean we will see......I know I want more I deserve more. Yet you cannot deny yourself  you can't deny how you feel either.

Now some may believe and think oh she's just being greedy, well mind you here's the full story one of these people I did date actually however long it may have been is between us, we had a common bond, and I believe we did care about one another very deeply. I believe with time, maturity, and once we are in a great place financially and have come into our own even more as adults that we could possibly be together one day. The second person I never really was in a long-term relationship with we have known each other for years, our families go way back, we went out on a date once, something may have happened, but I know when I see him I still feel like the little girl I used to be sometimes, wanting to look great for him, getting super excited to see him, and I know I would be totally comfortable with him completely. Either one of them I would be totally comfortable with actually. Now who am I talking about "Handsomeness" and "Soulful Songbird". "Handsomeness" I have known him for a couple years now and "Soulful Songbird" I have known him for 2 decades. I believe they will always be two of the people I may feel the most comfortable with not only that but who also have probably meant the most to me over the years.  When it comes to the love and relationships department. It made me raise the question can you have two loves in your life?

Sometimes I do have to remind myself what about the future? What about the next person you meet. Yes that doesn't seem fair to the next man right. I know what some of my readers are probably wondering. That won't be fair to him because he will never know what those two other people did, or why they mean that much to you either. Yet at the same time it's something that I cannot hold in though. That's how I feel inside, I told my readers not only would I share the news, fashion, movies, and whatever else. I told you I would share the truth about my life, my thoughts, and what is dear to me with all of you.

No it won't be fair to the next person who enters my life but he will have to know just like with every human being you come with a past, with people who you loved or cared about before you two became an item, that's called experience. That's called knowing who you are, and also knowing what you want as well. It's not like I only cared about these two people in my life no.....I did date other people but what I meant is the gentlemen who tug at my heart strings the most. The two who I believe I will always care for no matter what. So I wonder is it just my feelings for them will never go away or is it just they will just be apart of me and that's the reality of the situation? I wish you all could tell me do you have more than one love in your life?

Scandal Television Show Expands the Brand to Two Networks

Scandal love this show I should have written about this earlier but I think this is no better time, Scandal starring, Kerry Washington, ("Ray (2004), Last King of Scotland, Save the Last Dance, For Colored Girls, Peeples, Django Unchained, now with as ("Olivia Pope")  she stars along with Tony Goldwyn ("President Fitzgerald Grant), Columbus Short ("Harrison Wright"), Henry Ian Cousick ("Stephen Finch"), Katie Lowes ("Quinn Perkins"), Guillermo Diaz ("Huck"), Bellamy Young ("Mellie Grant") , Jeff Perry ("Cyrus Beene"), Darby Sanchfield "Abby Whelan", Joshua Malina ("David Rosen"), and Kate Burton.
The cast of the hit series, "Scandal"

The show produced by the Emmy-winning producer, writer, the head woman in charge, Shonda Rhimes and her team of writers produce an incredible television show where they take the viewers on a ride inside the political world of the White House. We get a view of what happens in the oval office,  behind the oval office, and we step into the life of the problem solver, crisis manager life of Olivia Pope. It leaves you hanging on every episode you want to know what's next because there's a cliffhanger every single week that makes you intrigued, excited to know about these rich, complex, diverse characters. I have been tuning in since last year and I cannot wait to watch the first season, second season, and of course be apart of the third season which left us all speechless with that amazing ending this year.
Now Scandal is apart of two television major networks ABC Network and now BET Networks which makes perfect sense to expand the show and brand. Especially for those who may have missed the show during the fall season catching up on work or school. Scandal has become such a household name women and men want to dress exactly like the stylish characters on the show, the costumes are modern, conservative, classy, tailored, and it suits this generation and the workplace. Women want to be the ladies inside the room of Pope & Associates on the television show. The show has such a large following "Gladiators" like myself tune in weekly when the show is in season. So make sure you follow and watch too because this show has all ready earned some major awards and Kerry Washington has gone home with a NAACP award for her role in Scandal, and has broken barriers, and so many opportunities have been opened for a lot of minority female actresses, writers, and producers as well. Tune in this fall in September  for it's third season. You know I will be tuning in very excited about this season.
