2013: The Whirlwind Year in Review in our world.

2013: Busy, Quick, and Crazy it has been a very hectic year not just for me personally but of course in the general world itself. All right let's start with the beginning I am going to have to take it month  by month and season cause so much has happened within the year.  Now we have had an incredible year let's start January 20, 2013 the President Barack Obama took his second term along with his beautiful wife, daughters, mother-in-law, and dogs Sunny &
Okay let's get this right the first time, Obama's private swearing in ceremony (January 2013)
Bo.  So many news stories have transformed and touched our lives truly from day-to-day.  So many things happened from January on personally, professionally, a lot has changed within a year. It's too much

Don't ask any questions you've got the answers now you know she can sing live enough said.
to discuss. I was so happy to be apart of him being sworn in and seeing it live. I can tell you that day was crowded, freezing at the Washington Monument. The feedback was unusually  off balance, you could see, but you could not hear properly. I remember seeing Beyonce up on screen and knew okay "One she's singing amazing and I know it's freezing. But why in the hell is the feedback off and you have a pop star singing at  the Capitol?"
A New Pope for Catholics, Pope Francis of Argentina
But in February she proved to the public during the NFL Superbowl. "Don't you dare play me--you know I can sing, Any questions?" That was the best moment I remember her saying. So much we have witnessed from Queen Bey & Jay-Z this year. His new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, her surprise first ever self-titled and visual album "Beyonce".   In March we received a new pope!, Pope Francis of Argentina has taken the place of Pope Benedict. It was incredible to see and watch I remember seeing the helicopters flying in Rome to Saint Peter's Square. Just thinking One my trip to Italy, and how I should take advantage the next time I go and how beautiful it was though. Seeing the unity of the country, the beautiful spirit of the people from all around the world, who are Catholics, who believe in him, that's what you're saying pretty much when someone new takes the place of another pope unexpectedly. You all believe in me? I believe so Pope Francis.  He has this incredible humility and just a presence that touches your heart. You can tell he has a gentle soul and he's down-to-earth. Incredible.
One of the biggest baby boom stories Kim Kardashian & Kanye West
Prince George Alexander Louis with his parents Duke &; Duchess of Cambridge,  Prince William & Princess Kate
Now let's skip a couple of months and get into the summer time of 2013. All right remember the celebrity baby boom? Yeah about six-to ten babies were born and they were all born by celebrities and high powerful figures who affect our world. They were all born around the summer time and made us all say "Awwww" right how could you not love seeing a new baby? So let's start with the Prince George Alexander Louis was born July 22, 2013 the new prince of Cambridge, incredibly handsome and adorable like his beautiful mother and handsome prince charming like father, Prince William.  Everyone waited and waited of course for the prince but how could you not his birth is going to affect the rest of the royal generations to come. So yes I have to give major props to the media outlets and press for waiting for baby George. I am sure it was well worth the wait.  We cannot forget the baby who's star is all ready bright and she's going to probably be one of the most powerful women I am sure in the arts and multi-talented.  Baby North "Nori" West daughter of Kimberly "Kim" Kardashian and Kanye West. We all knew she's going to be absolutely gorgeous how could you not, she's going to be talented, but what we didn't know was baby North came a month early then her due date.  "Nori" made her first appearance on her grandmother's talk show, "Kris" on the FOX network this summer. Which I thought was perfect timing and absolutely necessary. She actually would have been born the same time as baby George. So she made a shocking surprise entrance in to the world I wonder who she got that from? and said yes I am here. Now we cannot forget about the other  beautiful babies Jessica Simpson's son, Fergie's son, Axl Jack.  Since we're talking about pop culture

We cannot forget all the music and the dance craze that changed everything this year. Twerking! Now tell me what was your favorite song should I go with "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke, "We can't stop?", "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus, "Suit & Tie" or "Mirrors" by Justin Timberlake, "Royal" by Lorde, "Stay" by Rihanna, "Poetic Justice" by Kendrick Lamar, "I love it" by August Alsina, "I knew you were trouble" by Taylor Swift", "Up All Night" by Pharrell Williams ft. Daft Punk, "Started from the bottom" by Drake, "When you're ready"by Selena Gomez, "Roar" by Katy Perry. I can go on and on honey but we will just have so much more music to talk about of course.

This year has been incredible for so many artists who have showed their talent and surprised us all. There's so much more for me to discuss. Good Golly Miss Miley--! She surprised us all with her tongue swagging out of her mouth, twerking, dancing with the bears, and little people at the Video Music Awards and also with her open, vulnerable display for "Wrecking Ball". She managed to show all of us a child star can have success you just have to transform your image and you will take off and stratosphere. I know the power of marketing and was completely genius. You have to keep your fans entertained and she did. Let's stay tuned for more.

Now let's get into the rest of the summer, does anyone remember the Trayvon Martin vs. George Zimmerman trial, yeah I know some of you may have forgotten, but that's the thing, we can't forget because there may be another story like this in the future.  We cannot forget that story because truly injustice was served. We cannot forget that we still have a long way to go.  Stories like that always touch my heart. We can't forget about those who sometimes go down as underdogs. Victory and justice will still prevail I believe. It's still not over.

I also want to acknowledge other heartbreaking stories because with life and the threads that connect us all are joyful and heartbreaking stories, the good and the bad. I want to send a special shout out to everyone who was affected by natural disasters, who lost someone, the victims of the Boston massacre that took place. That story touched my heart, having been to Boston a couple of times, I felt the pain in the hearts of the victims and their families. I believe you have to truly remember that we don't deserve to live in a world with pure hate and evil--but we do unfortunately. I pray and hope that things will get better, our government, our world, the mindset of all of us will change. We have a lot of work to do but it's going to take a lot of time, patience, and most of all change.

We also have to witness some of the most powerful moments that took us all by the heartstrings, the approval for gay rights and for gay Americans who are humans too (mind you) and should be able to be married in this country. Point blank I support that and am very happy that this war is over now, people are free to do whatever they choose to that is legal and live their lives in happiness and peace. Laws are still be governed and approved but the point is people are now free, spiritually and emotionally to be themselves now. That's a beautiful thing.

I also want to acknowledge another story a young lady who was in local news. Her story touched me as well she was saved by Dr. Oz! I loved this story cause she has incredible courage her name was Sian Green. I remember her story and she made me realize the power of New Yorkers, and also that maybe she may have been at right place and right time because Dr. Oz saved her life. I just want to give her a special shout out because you're incredible and your perseverance showed all of us that you don't hold grudges, you bounce back, and tell your story.

Now the late summer  and into the fall of 2013 definitely took a drastic change there's 3 stories that changed and just made me realize how we have to always cherish every single day of our lives. One, James Gandolfini's story he passed this year and was incredibly talented, I was a Sopranos fan I just want to acknowledge him because he really does deserve it. Also my dream man, Paul Walker, I have to acknowledge "Baby Blues 2", he had these aquamarine eyes that can just light up any room. He was beautiful, body sculpted like a perfect Roman statue, smile, friendly, inviting, warm, and he was a manly man. He could really get anyone's attention, and he also had this incredible heart. I have been a fan since about 12 years old. I saw Varsity Blues, I saw "She's All That", all of "The Fast & Furious" films and he's gorgeous. I can go on and on. Lessons learned from his 40-year short life one, don't take anything for granted, live your life completely, be wise, love hard, and always give back to the world.  Paul Walker's foundation definitely have to acknowledge.  Reach Out Worldwide- visit http://www.roww.org I am leaving the site and will visit as well.

Also number 3 "The Nation's Grandfather, Nelson Mandela aka "Madiba".  People don't  concentrate so much on what happened at the memorial service in South Africa with the selfies, the man doing the incorrect sign language, that was a security issue, and more protection should have been there. Remember the powerful man he was and that 46664 his prison number when he served his 27-year sentence should always remain in our minds forever. He touched all of our hearts, with his warm gentle smile, presence, if you want or haven't met your grandfather, you would want him to be like him, passionate, aggressive, a fighter, motivated for progress and change. You would want him to be the greatest thing like him, all of the people around the world who know what he truly meant to the African community, The USA, all around the world.  He took no mess believe me--but he did it graciously and used it mind not violence. Something that is often strange or bizarre for some people to understand but is actually wise because he will never be remembered for using cruelty to other human beings but simply used his strength, power, and fought for all injustices as well.

I also want to acknowledge the new mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio congratulations, we are upon the end of an era and into a new one saying good-bye to Mayor Michael Bloomberg. He has done tremendous new things, and I cannot wait for the years ahead to see where we go now in a pure democratic led state now. I guess we'll see next year.

To all of you, all of my readers, supporters, who click the link and visit the blog, Thank you as I said I have always so much to share and discuss with you. I will see you in the new year, a lot of big changes coming ahead for 2014 for "Inside the World with Honey Brown Sugar" stay tuned. Now let's party to some of the biggest songs now.

So with that being said I think we would have sum up 2013 here's the theme  as this "BE WHO YOU ARE....IT DOESN'T MATTER, TAKE A CHANCE, CAUSE SOMEONE IS GOING TO OBVIOUS LIKE IT OR HATE IT BUT THEY'LL TALK ABOUT YOU ANYWAY". THAT'S ALL THE MATTERS =)
