Get ready for the next cut of Barbershop April (2016)

 

 

Do you remember when I listed all of the movies that Ice Cube was in when I wrote about “Straight Outta Compton” the movie was such a great hit he and the whole cast received major critical acclaim from everyone. Well one of those little films Cube produced with his production company, Cube vision was the hilarious Barbershop franchise.  The whole gang is back and I heard there are some rumored surprises coming back within the film too.

                The film takes place 12 years later in 2016 remember Calvin Palmer Jr. in Chicago when Calvin is still the owner of his father’s famous barbershop but now he is raising a preteen son, managing his business, and dealing with his crazy outrageous staff. The movie will star the following cast of characters: rapper/actress/fashion designer, Eve (Terri the sassy hairstylist with the quick temper is back), the film will also star Margot Bingham, Common (rapper/writer, Grammy award winner for (“Selma”) 2015, Anthony Anderson, Cedric the Entertainer, Regina Hall (The Best Man series, Act Like A Lady Think Like A Man films 1 and 2, Blackish, Scary Movie series) , Garcelle Beauvais (author/actress) , Sean Patrick Thomas, Deon Cole (The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien) currently “Blackish”, and Jamal Woolard (“Notorious” 2009) and Onika “Nicki Minaj” Maraj ("The Other Woman")  the hip hop diva rapper, songwriter, actress, and international superstar will play “Draya” in the film.  The film I am sure will be hilarious with Calvin up to his get rich quick schemes, and the antics of Anthony Anderson, and all of the gang back together. Don't you all remember this spin off too "Beauty Shop" back in 2005 the film came out starring Andie Macdowell, Queen Latifah, and some of our friends from the Barber shop series too.

 

So are you going to go see it this spring? I hope you will we can all use a great laugh from everyone in this cast. Run to the theater on April 15, 2016-Friday the film comes out. I feel like I am in a movie sometimes when I am with “The New Guy” like I am living in my own romantic comedy now called, "Long Distance Love,The Writer, & The Engineer". Everything is picturesque, beautiful, pleasant, and just peaceful. Easy and smooth like the lake next to your home in Louisiana it is smooth, the geese are at peace swimming, the birds are really chirping making up songs to sing, during the day and the sun is shining bright.

 

I am laying down all I hear is you breathing, your heart is beating and pumping, looking out the window I see a bright white light and the moon and a beautiful big bright star,  Polaris the north  star is up in the sky shining down on the two of us on your balcony coming through the window. As we lay we are locked arms, legs, my head to your chest and holding hands, long brown legs, and feet are linked. We are intertwined, we are one. I told you the truth I am opening up more to you and just feel like I can be myself actually. I can say what I want, I can feel what I want, and I can be myself with you. I don’t want to hold anything back at all anymore. I know you want us to pace ourselves until we get to our golden moment. We are joined together and can finally be free to enjoy our lives, our passions, and be one. For now I just want to be all tangled up in you. If I can do that then I know I can escape to paradise before we go back to reality.  As soon as reality hits though I still feel like I am living in a dream. My best advice for everything you do in life is be innovative meaning use your imagination it’s okay to be creative and get ideas, when you have something you want to make and put to use take advantage right away. An idea is like a small seed it can grow and bloom into a beautiful flower. You want to hold on to those ideas and make them something amazing. Whatever you believe will make the world or you better you can do.

I want you to be vivacious meaning living a life with passion, zest, having excitement, and embracing everything that is thrown act you. You take everything in with the good and bad. All of these lessons are going to prepare you for greater things ahead each time you get somewhere you will get to another better place. That's how you have you live with being vivacious. You strive for greater success for whatever is thrown at you.

 

I want you all to take a good look at the definitions of the meaning of these words. Mainly because these are the traits young girls and women should develop you want them to be strong, confident, knowledgeable, ambitious, thoughtful, hard working. You instill the D.I.V.A attitude and you will get the D.I.V.A. I want my future daughter, my niece, cousins, and everyone with a daughter to know her worth and value every single day. How valuable she is not just in the eyes of her parents, the eyes of her God or who she believes in, her friends, and family. I want her to believe that her influence in society is looked upon her from the moment she is born to the moment she takes a step in society. It's important for her to be around people who may be a positive influence to her. You need people who will push you to be a greater success. That's the most important thing someone who will be a positive influence to you can take you to greater places in the long run.

 

 

These women above and below some are not shown who I admire but these are some of my heroes and I hope with their stories it will motivate you to follow your dreams, passions, and be a fierce DIVA too!!
