He’s back telling the truth with "Non-Fiction" album debuts in 2015 for Ne-Yo

Ne-Yo's new album "Non-Fiction" (2015) in stores now

Hello my fabulous readers you rock!!!!!!! I have made it to over 90,000 pageviews!!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!! My timing was excellent I was just listening last night (Jan. 25) to DJ Funk Master Flex’s show on Hot 97 New York’s radio station I often do late at night I listen to Power 105.1 “DJ Self’s Late Night Mix” on the radio at night and other radio stations. It’s always been something to help me fall asleep sometimes plus I love catching up on music.  So I am listening to a voice and recognize his voice right away. It was Ne-Yo. He was doing a live interview with Flex.  I love Ne-Yo as an artist and I have seen him in concert about 7 years ago in 2008 at Madison Square Garden.

So I knew instantly I need to write about him he’s been busy of course plus he always has a great music and a positive message for women.
Attending the American Music Awards

Shaffer Chimere Smith better known to all of us as the multi-talented, songwriter, producer, actor, and singer, “Ne-Yo” his name from “The Matrix film series” meaning “The One” because he sees music the way Neo saw the Matrix.. He is certainly the one when it comes to the music he has made over the years. Over the years since Ne-Yo first debuted in 2006 with “In my own words” I have always been a fan of his music, he continues to evolve, to grow as an artist. He has a special way of connecting to his female audience, finding a way to educate his male audience as well with his song lyrics. Ne-Yo has crossover in dance, pop, hip-hop, R&B, and soul with a large melting pot of audiences.
Now as a fan of his music I wanted to do a brief little biography so you know more about this musician, songwriter, and producer. He grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, worked hard in a small group, found a way to get into studios working towards producing, writing songs, he went through some challenges but managed one day to write a song that would be a hit song for him. He worked his way into the industry it never came as easily as he had planned but luckily one of the most difficult things he experienced helped him write a song that would catapult him into becoming one of R&B’s biggest musicians. He wrote “So Sick” a song everyone around the world has come to relate to post-break up and you are reminiscing about that special person you have just broken up with at that time.  Ne-Yo had a lot of songs on his debut album that really show the versatility of an artist. He can write a song that would make you think and reflect, make you feel the beat, make you want to dance, and even make you want to be with that special someone all over again. He can connect to the audience on a human, natural, intellectual, and emotional level.
So let’s go back in time a bit and we’ll move to the future….In early 2006 he released his album and “When You’re Mad”  and “Sexy Love” (one of my personal favorites) exploded on the radio. One of my favorite music videos at the end of the video he’s with his “lady love” and his friends are banging on the front of his apartment door hilarious. He also released “Stay with me” (Music) it was not as successful as “So Sick” but it was some of his best music, you can see he really had a gift, and was extremely talented.
In 2007, his sophomore album took off when he really tapped into his skills with “Because of You” which was the titled album and he had a few hit songs on the album, “Do You” (another personal favorite I still listen to this song).  I remember I was in college when this album came out I was just getting ready to graduate actually I played this album a lot definitely. His other singles fell below the Top 20 Billboard but he still made it on.  2008, was Ne-Yo’s break out year this is when I think his fans saw he really could break into any genre of music. He noticed while he was in music industry, how rappers and singers were changing. He noticed the quality of music and men we’re not really being gentlemen anymore. There was a lack of gentlemen. Women being courted, appreciated, respected, or adored. He came out with one of my personal favorite songs I still love it and the message for women. He really showed what women needed and wanted to hear as well. Ne-Yo dropped “Miss Independent”, an anthem for women who we’re acting like “bosses” as he states, showing they could take care of themselves, and still be sexy and attractive to men. I loved this song it came out a great time I just started working professionally and let me tell you talk about a boost of confidence. That’s what Ne-Yo does for women, he makes them remember to appreciate and value themselves in his song lyrics.  He started a music and fashion movement for men and they learned (some of them) to pull up the baggy jeans, t-shirts, wife beaters, and hats. They learned to dress up more, learned to be gentlemen, and give men a classic view of how to appreciate women. Similar to have Frank Sinatra or Sammy Davis Jr., or “The Rat Pack” would have treated their women. He released “Mad” which was #11, and “Closer” which was #7 on the Billboard Charts. Closer took Ne-Yo into the pop dance audience. The introduction of the song, the instruments, and everything in the song made audiences appeal and grow to love Ne-Yo’s music as well.  He also appeared in “Stomp The Yard” as well.
In the mean time 2008-2010 he took some time to focus on his music, producing writing songs for artists like, Celine Dion, New Kids on the Block, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, and many more. He also focused on his latest projects and his family as well. He released an album internationally in Japan in 2009 with the best of his hit songs. Then in 2010, he returned to the state focusing on his next album, “Libra Scale” which had two different meanings, one him sharing the sign Libra, but also a man having to choose between love, fortune, fame, power, and success. He released “Champagne Life” and “One in a Million” (I love this song used to wake up to it for a few days on my alarm clock). He released Libra Scale on November 22, 2010. Throughout his hard work he did find love and a greater appreciation when his firstborn little girl came into the world, Madelyn Grace Smith on November 12, 2010, and a year later his son, Mason Evan Smith was born on October 9, 2011. He was on top of the world. A year later he began shooting the film, “Red Tails” which came out the following spring, and he released “Give Me Everything” featuring Nayer & Pitbull and debuted at number 1 on the billboard charts.  He took off like a rocket and continued collaborating with many artists. He began working on new music and in 2012, he earned the David Starlight award for “Songwriter’s of Hall of Fame”. In 2013, he collaborated with David Guetta on “Work Hard”. He took some time out to focus on his music and worked on a few other songs in 2014, he worked on “Money Can’t Buy”, and then released “She Knows” featuring Juicy J from “Three Six Mafia”.  Now, that he has released “Non-Fiction” a love letter to his fans with songs about their experiences, things his fans have shared with him over the years, and what he  has discussed with them over the years.  Love his music and looking forward to hearing about songs that always come from a real and relatable place and experience. So will you go get this hitmaker’s album. I hope you will. Keep up the great work, and hope you will listen to more of his music.  Please Visit http://www.neyothegentleman.com  for more information on concerts, appearances, and more.

There’s a lot coming up for 2015 this year and of course as some of you know my dear friend, Marisa is getting married and I am one of her bridesmaids. “Every little girl wants to be just like Cinderella the Disney film coming to theaters this spring 2015 “

Disney's Live Action version comes March 13, 2015
In March of 2015 just in time for springtime, romance will be in the air, birds chirping, flowers blooming, and Cinderella is coming little girls and young women will be able to relive their experience of the fairy tale in a real live action film Disney’s Cinderella is coming to theaters on

Original poster of Cinderella

Film Poster 2 with Lily James and the Glass Slippers
Film Poster 1 with Lily James & Richard Madden

60th Anniversary Special Edition  DVD "Cinderella"
y, worldwide on Friday, March 13, 2015. The film is starring the beautiful, leggy, statuesque, and incredibly talented, Cate Blachett. (“Elizabeth” (1998), Elizabeth 2(2007), “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” (2004), “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” (2008) she was nominated for an Academy Award the following year in 2009, “Blue Jasmine” (2013), and “The Hobbit the Battle of the Five Armies” (2014) she plays Lady Tremaine (Cinderella’s stepmother).  Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson better known as her stage name “Lily James” is going to star as Ella/”Cinderella” in the Disney modern adaptation. James starred in Warner Brother’s (“Wrath of Titans”) in 2011, starred in “Fast Girls”, “Just William”, “Secret Diary of a call girl”, and she played “Lady Rose” in Downton Abbey. The film also stars Richard Madden as “Kit”/”Prince Charming”, Sophie McShera as Drizella, Holliday Grainger as Anastasia, Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother, Stellan Skarsgard as the Grand Duke, Nonso Anozie as the Captain, and Derek Jacobi as the King.
This is very new and a nice beginning because Disney has never done the modern film with live people in the 21st century for film. It has been done on Broadway for the last 20 years; it was brought to the smaller screen with R&B singer, Brandy Norwood in the late 1990s. Now Disney has made the film into a more modern updated visually stunning, intricate film. They played close attention to the 1950 animated version of the film, Cinderella and really made it modern and very modern as well.  This is a story that has been told for centuries, each story has been updated with a new version remaining true and similar to the basic plot and theme.  One thing I really love about the film is how they make Cinderella a heroine in the film. She’s not the victim dealing with her evil stepsisters and stepmother. The writers have written to make her strong really showing young women and girls of this generation they can be intelligent, witty, graceful, self-reliant, and full of power as well. Young ladies still need to have some positive role models to teach them how to conduct themselves. I believe with a film like this it will really show young girls to still believe you must be gracious, appreciative, kind to others who treat you well, and that love still can conquer all when given tests in life as well.  I hope you all will love and fall in love with the characters in Cinderella all over again this spring. Enjoy the film with popcorn, your favorite delicious movie snacks, and maybe stop at the Disney store afterwards too. "Year in Review: 2014"

First my readers Happy New Year!!!! I am extremely happy to be back with you all. We're up to 89,000 page views you know what this means right. I told you 90,000 or more something big is about to happen.  So we're almost there and cannot be more excited for the year ahead with all of you.
You know when people say, “You want the bad news or the good news first?” Go with the bad news first that way when we can resolve the issue and go with the good news to keep it positive =).  My readers my late Christmas gift to you here are some of the popular “bad news” and “great news” stories of 2014”. Shock and Awe is what you can definitely call 2014 for just some of the biggest news stories in the media had us all scratching our heads thinking “Did that really just happen?” or “What were they thinking?” Some of the controversial stories that happened this year really did make us all discuss and talk about some serious issues that can be addressed and also made us come together as well.

Now one story I truly will not forget this year was the Clippers owner, Don Sterling and his racial threats against his own team. I believe this was one of those situations where you really have to use your better judgment even in private as well when you’re making comments. To some of us it all kind of made us think aren’t you dating or in a relationship with an African American woman as well? That story struck us all because it includes not only being contradictory but it also make us think who’s being true, genuine, and loyal. It was one of the stories where you see sometimes money, privilege, entitlement, and celebrity can get taken away as well.  The Clippers team was later sold to Sterling’s wife and they all have gone on to continue to play and be successful as well.

Next controversial story I am sorry I have to go there but this is because these topics are one for all of us who have been affected, who still needs to address these issues privately or with other people. That’s one thing I like about having an outlet and having my blog is for people to have the information they need when a controversial topic comes out. Usually some may all ready be informed, some may have missed the story too. I try to find solutions and ways you can discuss the topic and be helpful for people too. So some of you who saw the video of NFL Baltimore Raven’s star back in February of 2014, Ray Rice and his wife, Janay Rice were in an argument walked into an elevator and he punched his wife and she fell over hit the side of her face on an elevator bar and was knocked unconscious as well. The video was leaked and the NFL Commissioner got a hold of it as well.  The story caused major controversy and the public was shocked of course. The story raised once again domestic violence issues and how it still needs to be addressed for all people to find a way to have their voices heard. One great thing I love that came out of this I have not become an official member of this organization. I spotted Kerry Washington and love her all ready as an actress and on one of my favorite shows, Scandal, and her style. She has joined Purple Purse Organization which helps and benefits and supports women dealing with or who have experienced domestic violence too.  For anyone dealing with this issue or know someone visit this website as well and also support the cause and discuss the topic openly and privately with your loved one. For

Controversy with violence in the media biggest news stories- Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Akai Gurley. I honestly feel like its still not over yet when it comes to minorities and violence. This issue we have been struggling with for centuries. One thing that struck me and that I continue to noticed when people were protesting is how people kept shouting “Black Lives Matter” it’s the truth completely. How can you even question or even say they don’t every life on this planet matters in some way especially when these are people who were victims of difficult circumstances. These are choices they didn’t have to make at all they happened to them. They never asked for this at all. It is one of the most unfortunate things for people to watch and see someone lose their life due to violence, especially to another human being. None of these young men deserved this at all.

Babies and Weddings of 2014
Some of the biggest stars marriages of this year as we know “Kim Kardashian” and “Kanye West” were married they say three times a charm. Kim and Kanye were married this year on May 24, 2014 in the beautiful, scenic, charming Fort di Belvedere in Florence, Italy I have been there and let me tell you if I could I would do the same it’s one of the most beautiful places to get married I believe.  Her wedding was spectacular, tons of familiar faces and she looked stunning along in her beautiful Givenchy wedding gown with full lace train, and her husband in his custom made Riccardo Tisci tuxedo. Even baby North now 1 was in on the wedding as well as a flower girl in a mock dress similar to her mother’s as well. The wedding was beautiful and could not be more excited for these two. As I said when you have known someone for more than 10 years and have a deep connection. They have the kind of bond you can tell they aren’t just married but really good friends as well. They support each other completely and I feel good about them as a couple. Congratulations again to them and all the best to their family and loved ones.
The next couple has been talked about for the last couple of months people are even pretending to be like them as well. George Clooney proposed to then girlfriend lawyer, Amal Alamuddin. This beautiful British Brunette is stunning, intelligent, with a very exceptional background. You feel like he has truly met his match. She has everything I believe he would want in a man. To some women George as some have said “George is like a Chanel suit he will always be in style”. George is Hollywood royalty now and really should be with a woman suitable to walk with him on his arm. He has been with women who would make us all stare and want to be in their shoes. But there’s something about her that you just know “You did good kid!”. They were married on September 27, 2014 this year in Venice, Italy as well. Congratulations to the Clooneys.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi –LaValle and Jionni LaValle  the “mini meatball” of the Jersey Shore (2008-2012) season and now “Snooki & J-Woww” reality television stars have blown completely up in the last few years.  She had a gorgeous wedding at the St. Rose of Lima Church in New Jersey on November 29, 2014. The Jersey Shore star and her husband met while filming “The Jersey Shore” and went through their ups and downs as cameras rolled while they were dating during that time. Now after two beautiful kids have been born two-year-old, Lorenzo LaValle and two month old, Giovanna LaValle. The two of them looked stunning together walking down the aisle in their wedding attire, and even after the wedding the bride changed twice into a second wedding gown and later a Gatsby Pink velour suit. The wedding had a whole Great Gatsby theme for her wedding and was lavish, gorgeous, and stylish all at the Venetian hotel in New Jersey.

The Royal Family-Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Princess/Duchess Kate announce they’re expecting their second child on the way this upcoming year as well. There will be a boy or girl for little George to play with in the very near future.

R&B/Soul/Pop Singer & Songwriter, Alicia Keys & Swizz Beats expecting baby number two on the way the singer announced to the public this year that she was expecting her second child sometime in late 2014 or early 2015 in the very near future with her husband music producer, Kasseem Dean aka “Swizz Beats”.

The Interview Controversy this story I had to throw in there because since I waited until December. I wanted to make sure everyone was up to date on everything. Now the movie "The Interview" caused major controversy due to the film's plot where the main characters of the film starring, Seth Rogen and James Franco are supposed to kill the world leader in South Korea. Do I agree with the plot because this is art and it's never going to happen because I am sure these gentlemen know so much better. It will never happen. I do believe it was taken out of context completely. It's a film and why are we getting so upset when it's not real. Now I get the theme yes we would be upset if one of our world leaders in the United States was attacked physically for some reason. You can say anything verbally about someone it's how you react and respond is what really matters at the end of the day. So in the end very happy Sony Entertainment released the film thankfully and everyone now can still see the film which is out right now. I swear you give people controversy and they all start talking =)

There are so many incredible moments of the year that has happened I really have to cut everything down or otherwise it would probably take me 5 entries for all of you to know everything point by point that happened in pop culture, the news, and all around the country.

Bringing the music industry to Fox: Empire drama television show premiere January 7th.

“Fox bringing the inside of the music business to television”
Chloe Riccardo
Some of you may know this all ready who have read my blog, others new to “Inside the world of Honey Brown Sugar”  I will inform you on some things. I wanted to be a singer as a little girl, yes I wanted to be a singer-songwriter, writer, actress, and dancer. A couple of those things I have done not on a professional level but one of them I do now obviously the writing part. I wrote 30 songs from age 11-16. I never recorded them but that’s how I got my start. I looked up to you know Brandy, TLC, Destiny’s Child, Mariah Carey, Whitney, all of the greats.  So here’s something I never told you guys aside from loving the music industry. I have never seen a television show or a dra  Now I actually did work at a record label I wanted to break into the industry so bad I even wrote in my diary once setting a timeline so I would have my “hit record” out by a certain date.  Now even though I am not directly center stage in the spotlight. I am still somewhat in the “entertainment industry”.  Now back to my story about being in the music industry.  As you know music is a product, it’s extremely useful, and it is a business 100 percent. Music is one thing that is attainable and you can use it again and again for decades to come.  Now when I was in college at Bergen Community College before I graduated to get my Associate’s degree  in Journalism you have to complete a career internship before you are able to get your degree.  Its funny before I started college I couldn’t decide between Music Business or Journalism. I chose the latter actually because it just felt right.  So I didn’t do a broadcast or journalism internship for college credit.  I did work at a radio station at La Mega was my very first real paying weekly and seasonal job. I did an internship at a record label and my career counselor, Mrs. McLaughlin approved.   I think at the time I really didn’t need it cause I was a staff writer  or a newspaper so it’s funny it didn’t work out that way. I ended up actually working at Universal Music Group in New York, NY.

Taraji P. Henson, Macy Gray, Timbaland, Malik Yoba, Jussie Smollet, Gabourey Sidibe, and Tasha Smith

ma focused on the music industry. This idea is genius and original coming from director and writer, Lee Daniels of films (“Precious”, “The Butler”, and “Monster’s Ball”). There is a lot to the music industry that you all do not get to see.
I worked for Roc La Familia a division of Roc A Fella Records.  My mom pulled a couple strings we knew some people from working at La Mega 97.9 I used to work there as well. So during my internship I never admitted this to my boss that one I wanted to be a songwriter and I knew the music industry very well. I learned so much during that time and experience.  When you are young I was 20 going on 21 at the time. Extremely new to this business, looking for a new opportunity, and in heaven because I felt like my dream was about to come true.  I stayed there for 4 months from January 31, 2007-May 2, 2007 I ended and completed my internship getting my six credits towards my degree and as we know I got my degree and transferred to Hunter College that fall and graduated three years later.
So what does this have to with Empire you ask? Key word I said I worked at a record label and I know how this business works. My mother worked as an account executive at CBS Radio, Majic 102.3 in Washington, DC, Hot 97, WBLS, LA Mega, Air America, Kiss FM 93.9 and a few other stations she came from a radio background and I fell in love with the music definitely. I fell in love with the industry when I met my first celebrity I met the R&B group, IMX formerly known as Immature.  I was also introduced to local dee-jays at the stations too. You learn quickly there’s so much more to this business than just “sing a song” and go on stage. There are levels to this business, you have to go through step one, the president and vice-president of the label, A&R (Artist & Repertoire) department which is developing an artist, promotion and marketing, publicity, copyright and legal, even the government plays a huge part in the music industry.  There are so many levels to making an artist a true star because like I said it’s a business, it can be fickle, and you better know exactly what to give the audience before your artist even comes into a recording studio.

Now this new television show is doing exactly that you get many elements to this new show. You get the fashion and style, the information on how the business operates, the personal side of the industry.  Also you see how an artist comes together completely and how it doesn’t happen overnight. It can take an artist almost 10 years to have their music make it on the radio station locally or globally.  You have to fight for your artist and develop them completely. There’s a lot to this business, because one thing I have learned not everyone makes it to the stage. Sometimes you can strike gold and get gold and platinum records, other times you are truly lucky if you get through the front door to a meeting with a record label. Now this is not to discourage anyone because as we know I believe dreams come true. My dreams have come true but I am telling you it doesn’t happen in one night. It takes time because you need the right team of people to build the singer/recording artist. I think with this show you get to see that. They have an all-star cast coming to  the show.  Its directed by Lee Daniels, Terrence Howard, Oscar nominated, Taraji P. Henson, Gabourey Sidibe, Rafael de la Fuente, Nealia Gordon, Jussie Smollet. This cast has a lot of familiar faces as well brand new coming into the industry as well. This show I can all ready tell has a great plot and twist with these two in the lead. Henson is actually a singer and so is Howard so they have plenty experience with the concept of the show. I am looking forward to it and I am extremely excited I have a great feeling about this one. So will you tune in on  January 7, 2015 at 9p.m. So you can learn about the music industry business? You will see everything I am saying is true it’s many level to this business and many layers involved: family, fortune, fame, the business, your dreams, and developing yourself as an artist as well too.  Tune into Fox and visit http://www.fox.com for more information.

“Katy Perry to headline 2015 Pepsi Halftime show for Superbowl 49 in Arizona”

“Katy Perry to headline Pepsi Halftime show for Superbowl 49 in Arizona”

Janet Jackson, The Who, Usher, Madonna, Beyonce, then Bruno Mars, now Katy Perry some of the biggest superstars have hit the Pepsi halftime show and now Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson better known as “Katy Perry”, just turned 30 and has had a fantastic year. Perry will grace the stage for her “Katy Kats”. Looking forward I have been a fan of her music since her 2008 album debuted seven years ago called “One of the boys”. The Santa Barbara, California native has made her way singing songs about “California Girls”, “Teenage Dream”, “I kissed a girl”, and now with three albums: One of the Boys, Teenage Dream, and Prism under her belt and MTV Awards Katy has truly earned her mark in the music business. This blue-eyed buxom beauty has had hit song after hit song. She has inspired her fans all around the world, with her female empowerment, inspirational anthems like “Firework” from her 2011 album and songs like “Roar” which is another inspiring, uplifting anthem she really has made it as an artist, has tons of endorsements, and has made her way showing women in the music industry can be  powerful, strong, creative, innovative, and can be heard as well.  Of course her music is fun and awesome to dance, sing to as well. Katy also has done some voiceover work as “Smurfette” for the Smurfs movie too.
So it’s a no brainer that Pepsi would choose her as the headliner for the halftime show for the super bowl.  I think it was genius for all of them to choose someone who can really get the audience up, hyped, and excited. Also it will be pleasing for both women and men as well. The show will kick off on Sunday, February 1, 2015. This woman is pretty incredible read some of her achievements talk about humble much you would never know but aside from her fellow artists and the women in her genre she has accomplished so much and has only been in the business for a decade and a few years. She won 5 MTV Video Music Awards for all of her five hit single songs. She was on the Billboard music award charts for “California Gurls” feat. Snoop Dogg/Snoop Lion, “Teenage Dream”, “Firework”, “Last Friday Night” (T.G.I.F), and “The One who got away”. She actually has released five albums, she released her Christian Gospel album, “Katy Hudson” in 2001, “One of the Boys” in 2008 when she was signed with Capitol Records, “Teenage Dream”, then “Teenage Dream the complete confection” was re-released with two singles followed up with “Part of Me” and “Wide Awake” one of my personal favorite Katy Perry songs too. She has won some awards that some may not even be aware of at all. She won 3 Guinness World Record for the most singles in music, she won 14 People’s Choice Awards, she was 2012’s Billboard “Woman of the Year”, and won 2013’s “Top Global Recording Artist”. In 2014 in the beginning of July Katy kicked off

her Prismatic World Tour and will continue after her performance at Super bowl and into March 22, 2015. This woman is kind of like the hidden gem we all didn’t really know. She has notoriety absolutely but didn’t realize just how big a star and how incredibly talented someone is until you hear all of their amazing accomplishments as a singer, songwriter, and artist.  You can get all of the information on her website at http://www.katyperry.com and here are some songs to refresh your memory as well.  Visit http://www.pepsi.com for more information on the half-time show and the game as well.

"Ring in the New Year with the new king of comedy in " The Wedding Ringer"

He’s on his way to becoming Hollywood Royalty Philadelphia native, Kevin Hart the new king of comedy once again is holding court in the movie theaters this upcoming year he is starring as a Jimmy Callahan in the film he is a best man consultant. He helps and assists men when it comes to weddings and they’re able to help him guide, groom, and assist them from looking like fools on their wedding day. I think with this film the latter is important with this one.  I love that this film is coming out just in time before one of my best friend’s wedding. So funny because it makes me think of the groomsmen how would they feel if they had to be assisted by Kevin Hart before they have to attend the wedding. I think pretty damn awesome lol!

This film also stars Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting (“Charmed”, “8 Simple Rules”,“The Big Bang Theory”, “Hop”, and “Authors Anonymous”), Josh Gad  (“Love & Other Drugs”, “21”, “Frozen” “Thanks for Sharing”, “Jobs”) as the groom, Doug Harris, Alan Ritchson (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, “Catching Fire”) he stars as Kip, Nicky Whelan, the sassy, hilarious Jenifer Lewis (“Act Like A Lady Think Like A Man 1 and 2”), Mimi Rogers (Dumb and Dumberer, “Austin Powers International Man of Mystery, and “The Door in the Floor”,) Jorge Garcia (“Lost”, “Cooties”,”Deck the Halls”), and phenomenal actress ,Cloris Leachman (“Now & Then”, “Bad Santa”, “Gambit”, “The Croods”, “Spanglish”) . All of these stars I believe are guaranteed to give the audience what they want and looks hilarious.

One thing I believe with every wedding in today’s society especially if you’re in the wedding you have to keep in mind “What am I going to say during my speech?”, Am I going to meet anyone (if you’re single), will there be free liquor or open bar , and what kind of gifts do I want to bring for the bride and groom. Usually this is what you think but now in the 21st century weddings have taken on a whole new meaning.  People can crash your wedding, then you have to put on a production for the wedding as well, with all of the competition against You Tube videos to keep people entertained you have to deal with a lot more pressure before the wedding ceremony even begins.

Official Trailer for all of you go see the film should be a riot.
That’s one thing I love about the film, he plays a wedding consultant but pretends to be an army priest, Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart) has to find groomsmen for the character in order for him to have his groomsmen and ushers be apart of the bridal party. It’s a lot of pressure because he doesn’t have many people to choose from. In real life usually men tend to choose their brothers, cousins, co-workers, friends from high school or college, or people who they have grown up with as children too. One thing I think the bride in any wedding is making sure her groom picks the right people for the photos and the right person to attend too. Now in this situation with the film he has to groom and also find the right men for them to be in his wedding to his bride.  Along the way he also grooms and prepares him for the wedding day as well. The film is similar to “Hitch” it reminds me of how Hitch was a consultant and he had to groom Kevin James’s character, and mold the character so he was ready to start dating and reentered the dating world.
