Hello my readers!….Now I love this
lady and her former co-host of this show “What Not to Wear” on TLC, I used to
watch it my room so much in college. She really did inspire me and helped me
become better with my clothes and what to wear on interviews, formal occasions,
and just dressing for every day. I even did a presentation called
“Fashion or Folly” once in college for my speech communication class based on
their television series. Of course
you all know yes I love clothes, and love what they can do for you as a person.
You can transform with an outfit, an accessory, or even a shoe. The whole
outfit can become something incredible.
So this show is a step up from the show “What Not to Wear” is what I am
talking about the show was on for 10 years it was Stacy London and Clinton
Kelly featured on this program. Now Stacy who is also a writer, contributor for
Vogue, as well as a fashion expert. She is teaching people from all over this
time to dress and what kind of clothing will they love, what makes you lust, or
what would make you run from the person in what they are wearing at the time.
It a show focusing on how to
improve one’s fashion sense. To enhance their look, we all know clothing is
essential but Stacy is the kind of person who can give you a great fashion
sense and also show you how to develop your own personal style.
Remember this fantastic show! "What to Wear" was on for 10 seasons with the hosts Clinton Kelly & Stacy London you can catch them on "The Chew" and " Love, Lust, or Run" now |
Come on we have all seen people who wear
clothing they shouldn’t be no longer wearing holey-jeans, now when I say holes
in your jeans I mean when you have a pair of jeans that are so old they are
disintegrating and have cannot hold up anymore. They have no come unloosen and
you know you need the cash for a new pair. Every woman needs a pair of jeans
that are for one being casual, one going out, one looking hot & beautiful, and one you can get paint,
baby or dog drool, and dirt all over. These jeans are for women and men to get
their hands in and really feel comfortable and fit with themselves. So Stacy takes them all to the next
level and really breaks it down with her guests on the show. I cannot wait to
see the show myself because she always brings some creative tips and ideas for
how to improve your wardrobe on a daily basis. If you tattered and beaten
clothing I promise you owe yourself if you can afford it to be a well dressed
clothing. Like the beautiful late great Gabrielle “ Coco Chanel” fashion icon
and fashion designer of Chanel said “Two things a girl should be classy and
fabulous” and “Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance”. So that’s
something women can always keep in mind even if clothing may be expensive for
you there are ways around it to still have great style from $10.00 dollars to
$1,000.00 dollars. I know the latter sounds greater for quality and the value
of clothing. Yet at the same time you can develop your style in thrift clothing
stores, confinement stores, and clearance sales that way you can still keep up
with the latest designers but you can save more money on a great price, I think
its better to invest in shoes and handbags we use and need them more. Stores
like Kmart, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Target, Macys (I have worked at for a couple
months, Burlington and JC Penney),
Century 21. All of these stores have great prices and designers as well. Clothing
is something I believe is replaceable and you should be able to invest in
yourself. From me I know that women do want to save as well. They want to have great style but not
sacrifice everything at a high price.
Stacy London provides those opportunities and takes on women and revamps
their whole personal style and gives them a chance to reinvent themselves so
they can go into the work force, go out on the night scene, go out with
girlfriends or friends and feel like the woman they truly want to be. You
should take this tip from me, if you know yourself you know what works on your
body type (whether you are an apple, pear, ruler, triangle, or hourglass), if
you are petite, curvy, have a boyish figure, or as tall as the
supermodels, know what your
favorite colors are, who inspires you, and how to dress for that particular
season (spring, summer, fall, or winter) , and occasion. I stress the seasons
cause you don’t want to wear your uggs and sweaters in the spring forever. Know
what works for you as a
person and your lifestyle. You are good to go and you can be at your best. So for this television series I get where she is coming from completely. Know what you want to wear and who you want to be and don’t be afraid to show it. Clothing and how you care speaks volumes about who you want to be. Don’t ever be afraid to show your personal style and what works for you.
