In every family there is one star someone who has that special quality that stands out amongst all of the millions or billions of people. Sometimes right in your own family there could be several people who may stand out to you. But what if the entire has a special quality that appeals to people. It is an automatic instant quality that appeals to people. Sometimes right in your own family there could be several people who may stand out to you. What if you have an entire family that each has that special quality and talent in each one of them. It can be the way they present themselves with their outfits, their hairstyles, their voice, whether their speaking voice or their singing abilities, or their personality can just attract you right away.
It can instantly intrigue you and also inspire you too to share them with the world too. There are many families who have been in the spotlight we know about the Jacksons, The Olsens, The Osmonds, The Hemsworths, The Kardashians there are so many groups of people who have been in the spotlight but what if the entire family had something unique and special about them. That’s a rarity to find the entertainment business.  When that discovery does happen you’re just like “Wow they have it!” You have what we need. It’s like seeing that rainbow after a pouring thunderstorm outside, a butterfly transform from a caterpillar, or a bee pollinating flowers to make their honey. It’s beautiful, special, and unique how you can discover their talent.

I have discovered over the last year five different families who each have star quality and some of you may know who these people are already and are in for a treat. They are from five different parts of the world, some of them have a lot in common though, and some may possibly have seen each other online, heard on the radio, have seen on television, or social media too. These five families all are incredibly talented not just with their abilities, but their business sense, their advice they give to people, their production skills, their filming skills, and yes they are all stunning! Yes they have beautiful children, husbands, and wives too. So it’s beautiful to see how You Tube continues to have amazing families who are sharing their lives with us and are inspirational, fun, loving, giving, and are teaching not only their children they are teaching and making us all look at ourselves and our families differently. So who are these wonderful five families?

1. The Casey Crew-the head of the family Rashaan “DJ Envy” Casey and Gia Casey they have five children currently: Madison, 16, Logan, 14, Jackson, 4, London 3, and Brooklyn 2. “DJ Envy” where would you know him from well he’s a Dee jay, businessman, radio personality, and one of the three hosts of “The Breakfast Club” on Power 105.1 in New York City. He and his beautiful wife are originally from Queens, New York and are high school sweethearts they met when they were sophomores in high school and have been inseparable, still crazy in love with each other after 22 years of being together. They each have something special the kids could all of course be models, actors, or actresses if they ever wanted to in the future. Aside from their amazing looks, they are incredibly smart business people and they give insightful, educated, honest, real, advice to people. They are real about it they look out for people as if they know them and treat them like family on their pod cast. They update daily and are very consistent with all of their fans, responding to direct messages “dms” on IG, e-mails, and comments too. The Caseys are hilarious they are that daring family they take chances.

2. The Grimwades- Ella Grimwade and Timothy Grimwade have five beautiful children too three girls and two boys: Heze,8 Hosanna, 6, Halle, 5 Harper,2 and Hezariah Reu 8 months old. They are one of the sweetest couples I have encountered they also met when they were in high school as well. Their story is very sweet, admirable, they fell in love at teens, later were engaged, and married in 2009 they will be celebrating their 10th anniversary this upcoming year in 2019. I notice the key with them is they make sure to give each other time, they are smitten with each other, they give time for the kids, they are really good at compartmentalizing with the kids. They educate, show the kids how to share, make, build things together, and the kids get along amazingly well. They are hardworking parents and also have something interesting in common they both love music, Ella has an amazing voice and Timothy is a hip-hop artist in the UK and his music has been featured online. Love their show because they put effort into it with their videos it’s a big production they work hard on it with the graphics, topics, and the kids love it! So it’s a huge effort. I fell in love with Ella and her videos when she was doing different tutorials initially and she was posting the journey of her pregnancy with her last son. They were just so charming, sweet, and everyone is crazy about this family. They deserve a show, something amazing with their beautiful family.  Another fun fact I discovered is their oldest children are actually teach their children at school which is pretty amazing their mother, father, and relatives are right there to assist them with raising their children.

3. The Lokkos- Cassandra and Karl Lokko just recently had their first born son, Lyan Lokko this summer in July and I loved their story I found these two last year during the summer and just got hooked actually. I saw them post their beautiful wedding from beginning, ceremony, to the reception last summer . Fell in love with their story instantly. They are both very creative, talented, instantly was drawn right away to not only their story, but what they share on YouTube, their advice and other stories too.
I have been following their videos along the way are funny, they document their special occasions, family moments, and have been invited to some major events. They were at the 2018 big wedding of the year, The Royal Wedding of the year between Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry. Love these two especially since Cassandra “Cass” is a Communications major a couple of my YouTube family members are actually I hope you know I adore all five families I wish I could meet all of you together it would be amazing.
4. The Edwards-Kaylin and Kyrah Edward  met in high school and were recently married last year and have an adorable four month old, Karter who was born this year in June is the spitting image of his beautiful mother and his daddy’s sense of humor and smile. I loved their story because they are only in their early twenties but look and behave like a mature couple in their early forties. I love it they are young, vibrant, fun, down to earth, and just an awesome couple but they have great sense, maturity, and you can tell they were made for each other.

5. The Ellises, Devale Ellis and Khadeen Ellis along with their three sons: Jackson, 8 Kairo, 2 and Kaz, 1 are childhood sweethearts they grew up in the same neighborhood and eventually went to the same college call it fate. They both knew each other in passing and never knew they would cross paths again and they started dating in 2004 and after college were married. They have three beautiful boys who I think will either be comedians, athletes, actors, or incredibly brilliant in different role. Devale and Khadeen are both communication majors and have made their way into the Hollywood scene, Devale I noticed was on the YouTube hit series, “Tough Love” where he played “Joseph”, one of the character’s brothers is where I discovered him initially. Now after seeing Devale with his family you see him in an incredible light there is a beautiful story here. The Ellis family of five they needs a sitcom or movie immediately. They are hilarious real life antics, no scripts at all everything is impromptu and off the top of their brains, quick, funny, relatable, and all love.
So these five families I wonder where they are heading next but tune in subscribe, watch, share, post comments, follow them on social media, and look out for them because I think there are some stars on the rise within their families.
You know one thing I realized something about this story not only do I love the families who have broadcasted their lives and stories with us on You Tube. I realized one beautiful detail they are millennials. I remember reading a story about how people are surprised to see that millennials want to get married at a later age. It's funny because all of these people met during their childhood or high school. They are all millennials born between the late 70s, early 80s too. They are raising big beautiful families and the kids are raised by the same father and mother. So it's a beautiful story to witness all of their journeys and stories. I hope to see more of this in the future and more of them getting a lot of recognition too.

10 years later...my blog has grown up

A decade later…I didn’t know I would have this blog this long but because we are still in the digital era it’s the sweetest thing to have this platform I am so excited for the future because I get to turn things all the way up. Your girl has been busy this year. I cannot believe it is October and it just so happens to be my blog’s 10th birthday is approaching October 21st, 2008 I created it and started my first post about female empowerment and discussing a few albums some of you music lovers will know and now it’s expanded. I can discuss everyone’s album, pop culture, music, television, fashion, and everything that happens in real and live time.

I am proud that I did this project, I have to thank my professor who taught my Basic Reporting class the great, journalist/writer/ radio show host, Karen Hunter, all of  the bloggers it’s so many of you I follow, read, and check out, the writers, journalists, photographers, and most of all Google (GOOGLE I LOVE YOU!!!!! You’re my babe all day).
Also the creator who initially had the phenomenal idea to start this Evan Ferris is the actual person who made Blogger that is a genius platform for writers of all different backgrounds to come and share our thoughts, ideas, and opinions. Thank you for having this amazing vision to make something that's been life changing for all of us in different media platforms.

Why do I have to give Google a shout out because I had an opportunity to work temporarily at Google this summer and Google just so happens to be connected to blogger.com the company who is responsible for owning my blog especially if I want to add advertisement to my blog I have to go through Google and ask for permission too. So yes I have to give all praise to them they just turned 20 too so it’s a big year for monumental birthdays for our companies, services, and business. This was initially just a hobby something I would do in my spare time but then it became a passion project. I have to thank all of the readers I’ve been checking my stats just to see which countries and the amount of people who are reading and many of you come from the United States of America which is amazing so you all live here in the country and are probably right under my nose. The rest of you are in other parts like South America, Europe, I even saw some stats for Greenland! I am impressed and very proud. I am glad my words, my stories, the news stories, and all of the people who have been featured have inspired you, motivated, made you want to work even harder, or that you have seen their movies, read their books, checked out their clothing lines, perfumes, and other products. I hope you have visited their shows live in person too.
This blog has been a digital scrapbook, a digital time capsule, something I can pass on to the next generation in my family, and there after. I love that as a bloggers we get to share with all of you on how important it is to have a voice, to speak up on so many different topics that can bring your joy, excitement, and happiness.  So this goes for all of the bloggers, vloggers, everyone who has established a platform, a brand, believes in pop culture, believes in still having a great time, believes in all dreams coming true, and wants to keep creating and building great businesses, companies, brands, and stars. That’s what I have gained from writing about people who all sought out to make something great for themselves and others too.
This is for you I will celebrate with a glass of champagne I toast to all of you the Blogging and Vlogging community to  YouTube, Word Press, Bloggers, Square Space, and all of the companies who give us a chance to build something amazing with their blogs and other sites that allow us to create something instant and amazing.
Now along with new beginnings a new decade is ahead of me now and there’s still a lot to talk about of course. I decided to change my blog’s name because I felt like it wasn’t really representing me, like who I really am as a whole person from beginning to present time. I thought to myself think about what’s become apart o you now I am going to dedicate the name to the place where I was born and currently live at the moment. I decided to dedicate it to the city that I love where I was born, made, and have experienced so much. I dedicated the blog to where it was born too in New York City. So my blog is now “The Original Manhattanite” because that’s who created it me and that’s where it’s birthplace is too. Too much won’t change I will still share my stories, my life, and other experiences with you but we’re going in a different, sophisticated, more grown up direction now. Means were going to have more fun though too I will not forget that. Let’s just say now my blog and I are going to show you what we both are really made of now.
So to all the writers, bloggers, and vloggers I salute you and keep on with your passion cause your passion made lead you to a career you’re going to be head over heels in love with too. Dream the biggest dreams they really do come true =) xoxoxo thank you all so much =)
