I am a big Ne-Yo fan who is Ne-Yo some of you may ask if you don't know. Ne-Yo is Shaffer Smith the R&B up and coming superstar who has had major success with three albums under his belt from Las Vegas, Nevada. Who also has penned some of the most beautiful love songs for the best known artist. He arrived on the scene with his first song "Stay with Me" in 2006. His music has become a major success all ready and even making his other fellow R&B musicians sweat. Case in point....Tremaine Neverson aka Trey Songz I am a Trey Songz fan. I am a big R&B fan and music lover period.

Trey Songz the twenty-five year old songwriter,producer, and singer is the artist who has had major success with last years, "Say Aah","Neighbors Know My Name", and "Invented Sex"

I have been thinking a lot about how Ne-Yo and Trey Songz within the last four or five year period they have released albums back to back consecutively and they have managed to actually succeed. I wonder though can they pull this off and be just as successful now? Will it happen for them both and will they be able to take their success to let's say a grammy? Will they win a grammy next year? That's all I am saying because they have worked so hard within this time frame it makes me wonder will they be able to both and the other R&B crooners and swooners for the ladies to make their albums really successful? I would love to see that. Ne-Yo is coming out with his fourth album...can you believe it since his 2006 break out of "In my own words..." he's coming back with "Libra Scale" he has done an amazingjob over these years beyond belief for his own success and even his music counterparts.

He had major success with "Because of You" (2007), "The Year of the Gentlemen"(2008) "Closer" a huge club hit and is still successful , and even success with cameo appearances and other songwriting contributions. Now he comes back with "Libra Scale" (2010) the album drops this November 22, 2010 Yes, Ne-Yo rechanged the date for his album to be released. So now all you Ne-Yo fans 11/22/10 is the new date. and all ready on the radio, videos, and online he has two new hit singles out now "One in a Million", "Beautiful Monster", and "Champagne Life" how can you not expect this man to top himself. I personally would have to say that when it comes to this Ne-Yo and his songwriting and producing skills. It does not get any better than what he is capable of with his music. He can write a song and immediately it will become a hit. I always wonder does it work simply because he has experience with the ladies? Or does it work because of experiences he takes and put into his songs that make them so successful? I am not sure but whatever his secret is this maestro knows what he is doing to make his name stick and so it will remain in the music industry and for years to come.

Tremaine Neverson better known as "Trey Songz" the kid from St. Petersburg,Virginia who has stolen our hearts with his song "Gotta Go Right Now" he has instant success with his first single "Gotta Make It"...and he proved he had the singing chops with his second album then and in 2009 with "Ready". "Ready" was the perfect title for him because he was exactly that ready to prove to the music industry I will be a success and the fans will love my music. Ready was the album that showcased his writing skills "Say Aah" ft. Brooklyn native and rapper,Fabolous , "Neighbors know my name", "I need a girl", and he had at least four hits on this album. Also has had major success with other artists as well. It makes me wonder with the release of " Passion, Pain, & Pleasure" will there be a success with this album as well. I think the singles have proven themselves already "Bottoms Up" feat. Nicki Minaj and "Can't Be Friends" have already been a major success. With the release of these two albums for Ne-Yo and Trey Songz will this be just as successful as they have already done and made in the past. I guess we will all have to wait and see. Who will have more success on the radio, concert sales, and promotion. Trey Songz did a whole 10-part series on BET for "My Moment". It gave a glimpse into his life and the artist he has evolved into as well. "Passion, Pain, & Pleasure" is in stores now and came out September 13, 2010 you can download it on Itunes and buy the album at your local entertainment store. Also look out for Libra Scale coming out in October. You be the judge on the better R&B swooner and crooner? Who has enough swagger to sell more albums. We will see.

Ladies do you really feel safe?

ATTENTION LADIES....!!!! Something I need to address let me ask you this? Just something thats been on my mind a lot lately and I am not sure if I really want to continue to put up with this in my life. Has it ever occurred to you that sometimes we as women tend to deal with the double standard because we are females? Also...that we have a tendency to be the weaker of the two sexes. Even as tough and strong as we are that sometimes people even believe we cannot defend ourselves. Something recently happened to me and somethings that I have experienced in the present and the past that I am still dealing with now. I want to know do you feel safe? I constantly feel like in this society we have to prove ourselves and we have to show to others that we are tough and we are constantly tested by people for it. It's disappointing and at times frustrating because we have no control over what is happening in society. A long time ago I heard this quote that just stays in my mind every single day. The message was that women affect society every single day and women affect the world. I never forget that at all because we have so much power that we don't even realize it. However, sometimes it is misused and abused because we are dealing with so much every single day. There is a website I found and I am glad I did because without it I probably wouldn't have known about it without some situations that have occurred in my life. The website prepares you and gives you tips on how to remain safe that's all I have to say. Safe when you are in a harmful situation. I came across all these advertisements on television the other day watching all the brightly colored,poppy, happy, fun ,and animated people and I noticed something America's corporation has thousands of snacks of course we are a nation that loves to eat. We celebrate holidays around food, we go out to eat and we also use food as a social agent. So in honor of all the thousands of snacks on television I give to you the treats that people love to eat. I give you my blog readers, AMERICA'S FAVORITE SNACKS! Here are my top 20 snacks that America loves I did the research and even Google agrees with me on this one lol...These are America's favorite snacks.

First you know the cookie that everyone craves, loves, and finds delicious it is dark chocolate chocolate with its white cream center....

1. Oreos!!!! The oreo as they call it are America's favorite cookie. I love oreos as well and I eat so many of them when I buy them. I am not encouraging you to binge and just eat a 1,000 oreos but its nothing wrong with having snacks and enjoying America's favorite cookie every once in a while. I chose Oreos as number one for cookies because they are effective when it comes to their heavy advertisement and promotion. They're marketing towards the audience gives many people the urge of course to go buy oreos. So eat them they're delicious whether you're eating them fried yes there are fried oreos, golden oreos, cakesters, or mini oreos. They are number one. 2. Doritos owned by Lays and they're getting even more creative with the flavors. It's not just about cheese anymore. It is all about the flavor of real food combine with doritos. Cheeseburger, Chilli and Cheese, Buffalo Wings and Ranch. These are the flavors that we enjoy while eating and also while we are enjoying food.

3.Lays potato chips. They come in all flavors and they can make you eat more than one especially with the proper dipping sauce you will find a way to keep going back for more. Lays come in a variety of flavors. They are delicious and of course they are found at many celebrations and occasions. You can't just have one is indeed the truth!

4. Popcorn!!!! How can you not love this crunchy,salty or sweet treat it comes in so many flavors and it is delicious to eat. Popcorn comes in caramel, cheese, cheddar: white, butter, and spicy hot flavors. Popcorn has been around for centuries and of course it is something we love and enjoy whether watching a game, movie, entertaining guests, and everywhere out. Popcorn comes in at number 4 for me. Also a little unknown tip: The crunchiness of popcorn actually helps with your teeth. It is not as unhealthy or fattening as you think. It helps with the strength and chewing.

5. Pop Tarts the happy and delicious pop tarts I grew up on these and occasionally eat them as well. They start your day in the morning and children love them of course too. They come in thousands of flavors as well. PopTarts also just recently opened a PopTarts store in New York City which will become popular.

6. Beef Jerky is one of America's favorite snacks how can you forget...Slim Jims!!! The quick fix for protein in your nutritional diet.

7. Little Debbie snacks I love Little Debbie's Honey Buns and their Strawberry Shortcake rolls. They're delicious and a quick way to enjoy dessert. This is something many Americans enjoy as well.

8. Buffalo Wings-spicy, hot,sweet, it's your pick but this is something everyone has at their parties especially superbowl parties, birthdays, extravagant events, weddings, etc. You can never go wrong with a Buffalo Wing.

9. Pigs in a Blanket--It depends on where you go but yes people to eat pigs in a blanket. Pigs in a Blanket are easy to make and quick this is for those of you who are carnivores =) These can be made easily with sausage-turkey,beef,chicken, or pork. They are fast and you can make them quickly and they can be served along with ketchup,mustard, or any sauce of your own creation.

10. Twizzlers- I have to hand it to Twizzlers their commercials are always creative and they have so many different versions of their candy. They have rainbow, pull and peel, black licorice, gooey filled twizzlers, and so much more.

11.Werther's Original--I love this caramel hard candy it is sweet creamy and america loves them too. They're like toffee and have recently come in chewy delicious caramel and chocolate flavors this decade.

12. Snickers--This is a classic bar and is delicious frozen I love it and so many Americans do along with their commercials. Snickers has their own website as well

13.Milky Ways This is Snicker's cousin the one that attempts to be just like it. It is one of the delicious chocolate bars within the family.

14.Klondike Bars--What would you do? For a Klondike Bar--its delicious and so good. I haven't had one in years but this cool creamy treat is another one to give you your chocolate fix.

15.Ice Cream-- There are so many stores with ice cream from restaurants,grocery stores, malls. Shout out to Haagen Daas!, Baskin Robbins, All the gelato places too, and Dairy Queen.

My top favorite out of 5 is Haagen Daas I love Haagen Daas and this is so delicious and it comes in all flavors. It was founded in Brooklyn actually in 1961 who knew! And it is absolutely delicious. My favorite flavors are Fudge Swirl, Dulce de Leche, Strawberry, their sorbets, Cookie Dough, and Pineapple Coconut which is just like eating a Pina Colada right in a pint.

16. Sunflower seeds-they come in tons of flavors and they are quick to eat good for zinc if you need them and they have a whole bunch of flavors from Salsa to Ranch! Yum.

17. French Fries--French Fries are easy to make and easy to eat. I love them Mickey D's (McDonald's) of course you get the top 1 place in French Fries for snack foods in America. I love 1.MC DONALDS, 2. BURGER KING 3. WENDY'S, 4. CHECKERS, and 5.FIVE GUYS I am gonna give you guys the top spot for fries. Also a little place in NY called Shake Shack you are one of my new favorites too. I have to give it to Mickey Ds though. Kids to Adults love french fries and they're usually eaten with ketchup but some people get creative with mayonnaise and mustard as well. Even barbeque sauce as well. I would love to see something more creative done with french fries what about a square fry? Not just a curly fry but a square fry..hmmmm something to be done.

18. Cheese and Crackers--simple to make and simple to eat. You can use any kind of cheeses and crackers.

19. Twinkies an old American classic the whip cream filled pastry has been around for years and can even stay around for years as well.

20. S'MORES! are number twenty these delicious marshmallow, chocolate, and graham cracker snacks are quick to make and very sweet. All kids of all ages young and old love them.

I am a MTV fan and have been since forever. I had to write about this one because I love the line up and the people who are performing. So I had to semi cover this major event. I am not there in person. I wish I could be but for now I can tell you MTV did an incredible job as they always do.There is no red carpet this year this year it is White. The set and decor is in resemblance of a party house. Everything is white and black.Now I remember the Miami VMAs I believe there was a pink carpet, The New York VMAS, I am not sure if they have done Las Vegas, and now Los Angeles once again. So I will be covering this by watching even though I am not there but I got this one in the bag. The performance was amazing and they all did an incredible job. The line up included...Eminem starting off the night with "I am not Afraid" and "Love The Way You Lie" ft. Rihanna. The song did create some controversy with some talk show hosts about the content of the song but I think now after that performance. You see for yourself art is expression. The song is about experiences but not something that should be taken seriously and create a riot.

The performances were incredible. I loved the whole stage, the setting was incredible. Even the middle of the stage resembled the inside of someone's eye. Incredible performances. There was not a lot of controversy this year mainly because, host Chelsea Handler wanted everyone to be on their best behavior for the remainder of the show. They were but there was still some buzzworthy attention. Perfect example the now famous dress for awards show will not be Jennifer Lopez's green Versace dress. Now it's pop/dance music star,Lady Gaga's meat dress and her dress by the late Alexander McQueen. The meat dress I would not personally go around with meat unless I plan to cook it. In her case I'll make the exception because she really is a genius this woman knows how to create attention, get people talking, and she knows to make herself noteable,remembered, and noticed. I love that about her because she's creative and opinionated. Another memorable moment was the Usher performance he did an amazing job with "OMG" basically coming out the screen in 3D laser light installations and screens.

The Kanye West performance he closed out the show with his new song, "Runaway" and the new chorus that I and many people will remember :"Let's have a toast for the Douchebags! Let's have a toast for A**holes" Something that was well thought out and gives people the chance to once again talk about him again. That's how you do it. I saw so many familiar faces as far as fashion goes Sammi "Sweetheart Giancola from "The Jersey Shore" and Jersey Shore crew did a good job with her fashion, Snooki looked amazing with the bangs, Ciara's dress I love, Eva Marcille from Top Model amazing look, Drake looked extremely handsome in his suit lol. I loved the Mary J. Blige, Swizz Beats performance because I am a big fan of his music now currently. "Thank Me Later" is in stores now. Also very proud of Gaga for her 4 or 5 time moon men win and her colloboration with my girl,Honey B better known as Beyonce. They did a exceptional job with Telephone. So overall there was a lot of success during the night. It was a pleasant night it was a fun night it wasn't a night for controversy so the 2010 awards this time was well done. Thank you Chelsea Handler!!!!

On to the next VMAs hopefully this time I and my best girlfriends will be there in 2011!!!!! Working hard for these tickets I want to be there so bad. So let the good music and shows continue Thank you and Love You MTV!

FASHION NIGHT OUT 2010

Fashion Night Out 2010 is upon us which takes place the second week after Labor Day usually and on Friday Nights which becomes Fashion Friday Night in September. You know I am going to be there. September is the biggest month for most fashion magazines i.e. Vogue which does their biggest fashion issue every September. This month on the cover is actress Halle Berry who was asked to be a part of Fashion Night Out celebration and festivities this year. Of course the style icon did not say no to Vogue. So she will be apart of the festivities and action happening on Friday night. Along with Vogue other fashion magazines Glamour, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, etc. these are all of the headliners for the magazine industry are all participating and it is important for that field of media. These magazines contribute a great deal to the industry and once fall has arrived it is guaranteed to give people the inside look to fashion trends for the fall season. This year Fashion Night Out is more than just about the designer's looks featured on the streets. This about giving back and taking into consideration charities play a major part in Fashion Night Out as well. So many entertainers, celebrities, and well known faces inside and outside of the industry take this seriously looking for their next big thing. Whether it is finding a model out to represent a company, campaigning and advertising for different images of clothing out in the public. Fashion Night Out represents various things within this industry. It also not only takes place in New York City. It takes place all around the world as well France a place I love of course the Fashion Country in the world, New York is the fashion capital, Japan, London of course all the fashion cities in the world Milan included these are the places that will be gaining on the big night to give consumers plenty of chances to enjoy fashions coming out this season and possibly for even next seasons Winter 2010/ Spring 2011.

I am very excited to be able to have this opportunity to be a part of the big night here in New York and I know this is going to be a fun, enjoyable night for everyone especially the fashionistas and women who love to shop until they drop, strut on the urban catwalk, and have fun. There are also t-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, purses, and plenty of memorabilia to buy for part of this night. Get creative with the t-shirts you can wear them just about anywhere and re-design them giving them more flair and stylish.

You will have so much fun catching up and being apart of the night. I went last year and we had a ball trying to schmooze with all the hoity toity people within the industry and they gave out free creme brulee actually at Macy's!. So free food and free drinks it's going to be a party on 9/10/2010 FASHION NIGHT OUT IN NEW YORK AND ALL AROUND THE WORLD JUST IN TIME FOR FASHION WEEK CELEBRATIONS!!!!

FASHION NIGHT OUT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!

Everyone came out in Manhattan for the celebration I attended with my buddy,Marisa and we had a ball. It was soooo nice they had djs in practically every single store that we entered. We went into Forever 21, Express,Victoria's Secret, Macys, and more. All of these stores had lines going way back because of the fact that people wanted to see the models when they come into town. We had sooo much fun of course shopping. We went into Express and there were sweets ice cream, pink lemonade or pink alcohol free mojitos, We saw a very well known make up artist on the street in Soho doing a live taping of Fashion Night Out. A lot of people were there you can feel the energy...of course they want you to purchase things before you can actually meet them. We had cameras in our faces for a minute I thought But we were able to see plenty.

Our last trip of the night was Macy's and we ended there on a high note when we saw the beautiful,Kimora Lee Simmons signing autographs. I am so mad I didn't know cause I love Kimora and I was gonna name my cat after her lolz. Cause of the whole Baby Phat cat thing and she wrote one of my favorite books "Fabulosity" which I read. So I loved it soooo very much that would be cool. But I took photos she was wearing her hair blown out, a black dress, and her assistant, Sandra I believe was standing by the table. I saw plenty of security and it was just an amazing time to be there.
