Glamour, beauty, natural beauty,
beauty that is crafted this movie paints images of hard work, success, and
status. This film is coming to life and I am very excited for this one this
summer. I read part of “Rich Peoples Problems” and I am looking forward to
investing and spending some time with Crazy Rich Asians the film is coming to
life this summer and debuts August 15, 2018. You have the beautiful Constance
Wu who will play Rachel Chu she is dating Henry Golding’s character Nick Young
who’s handsome, tall, successful, and Rachel thinks he’s just a regular average
guy, he has a lot going for himself, he’s pretty private, and humble. Yet when
she and Nick decide to make their relationship more serious, take it to the
next level. Nick wants to bring her home to his family. His family isn’t the
Asian-American family living down the street in a modest home in America. It
turns out Nick’s family lives in Singapore where he is originally from and they
are extremely wealthy. This is one of those cases where there are many themes
to this story. You can definitely debate a lot of topics here. The first being
will she still love Nick because of the person he is inside and not base her
love on wealth, material possessions, or status. Will she base her love on the
good, kind, hardworking man that he is and that he’s willing to fight for her
love, her heart, and the woman she is when she is with him. Or will this turn
into a war and a star crossed love situation where their families, the lovers
are putting them at the center and families are turned up in turmoil?
It’s a story where every love is
tested and you have to decide do I follow my heart, do I follow my family, my
friendships, or do I let fate decide I think this is a beautiful well written
story I hope I get a chance to read the book before the movie hits theaters
this summer and I am looking forward to completing the other parts of Kevin
Kwan’s deliciously glamorous, and hilarious book series. I believe the film is
visually stunning and the costumes are out of this world.
The remaining cast members are also
Gemma Chan who plays Nick’s cousin, Lisa Lu, Michelle Yeoh you may remember her
in a film called “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon”, “Memoirs of a Geisha”, Ronny
Chieng, Remy Hii, Nico Santos. Also Tan Kheng Hua, Akwafina who is having a
phenomenal year I just saw her in Oceans Eight she killed it in the movie too,
and the hilarious! Ken Jeong (Holla til you squalla!) I love him he’s hilarious
in The Hangover franchise and “Dr.Ken”. I hope you all will go out and see the
movie too. Go see it in a really good theater this is one of those films you
want to invest in (wink wink). I am so excited looking forward to watching and will
be looking out for it. For more information http://www.crazyrichasians.com
