You ever wonder what makes a
relationship tick. What makes a couple have this incredible energy that even
the people around them all the time can see it. That’s what this television
series is all about. A young African American couple who’s relationship made
them into a dynamic duo in the television, film, and production industry. Their
relationship continues to grow and blossom not just personally but
professionally. Their relationship has a strict balance of professional and
business they know how to separate the two. I am talking about television and
film producers, screenwriters, and directors, Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil.
They both came out with a television series produced based on their love and
relationship.
There was something about the
series that instantly attracted and drew me in. especially how they flash
forward to the future of their relationship status then document it along the
way. I love this story this is what we need right now because you have to love
the passion, their friendship, and how they comfort one another too. They are
in their early twenties in the beginning of the series it’s circa 1997 which is
an incredible time and period when it comes to pop culture, music, fashion, and
television too. There was a great period of music you can use in this series
for different segments. The music
and series connects right away to that time period. It takes you back there
right away.
I hope you all are tuning into this
television series it’s inspiring couples all over the world. The show stars
introducing new actor and actress, Michelle Weaver(Cheater, Cheater, Illicit,
Sister Code) William Catlett(Left For Dead) are playing the protagonists and
real life couple, Mara and Salim., Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing, Clarke Peters("The
Wire", "Treme"," Marley & Me", "The Corner", "Notting Hill", "Red Hook Summer", "Freedomland", "The
