"Bad Bunny headlining 60th NFL Superbowl 02.08.2026 Sunday" in Santa Clara, CA

He had one of the most successful tours last year over on the island of Puerto Rico. He sold out 54 stadiums in 18 countries as one of the top Latin artists in the world. Bad Bunny born Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio on March 10, 1994 has been nicknamed amongst his peers and in the music/entertainment industry as the “King of Latin Trap”. He has broke crossover records.

and has gained an audience of masses of people from all the corners of the world live and love his music. I discovered Bad Bunny when he debuted in summer 2018 on Cardi B’s “I like it” with J Balvin when he was featured on her debut album and her second hit song. Bad Bunny has become a household name in the last 8 years collaborating with Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Rosalia, Dua Lipa, Chencho Corleone, Maluma, Daddy Yankee, Enrique Iglesias, Becky G, and Ricky Martin.

It almost feels like we should have a whole celebration of Latin artists at the Superbowl if we are going to include one of the hottest artists in the game you might as well include all influences from Latin Pop, Dance Pop, Reggaeton, and all genres where there are Latin music influences. I see the way Roc Nation is going with there journey for entertainment and sports to be combined for all athletes and fans of sports. You have to be inclusive for all musicians in this time and age. We live in a world now where music influences are coming from all parts of the world. Inspiration can come from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and beyond.

We can look everywhere for music influences from instruments, electronic sounds, live performance artists, dancers, producers with diverse backgrounds that can transform and create a new sound. Bad Bunny is one of those representations that we can bridge music from all parts of the world globally and create a sound of music that kids and adults will dance to no matter where you are from, if you speak the language a little bit as a beginner, or it is your native tongue. I believe he’s one of those artists who can take his music beyond just “Latin Trap Music” he can expose himself to other influences for even more solo and collaborative projects. Plus he’s easy on the eyes and everyone loves his aura, energy, and personality. As we get closer to the big day to celebrate the 60th NFL Superbowl anniversary. Let’s give it up for music collaborations and for international music.
