Celebrity attachment to beauty has never been uncommon in the beauty business of cosmetics, fragrances, or even fashion. It’s a natural fit people see beautiful and handsome faces it usually pays off for people to go a step further. You may see their faces grace the cover of a box, a beauty bottle, or their image on advertisements too. They present the image and we all aspire or may want to achieve that same glow, that look, or just feel healthier too. Now imagine if you the celebrity have your own beauty brand, where you use ideas from your upbringing, you’re searching for products that will nourish not just the hair, but promotes growth from the root to the ends of your hair, you want to create nutrients that will make the products create thickness, length, and non-breakage too. This is where beauty and hair cosmetics are leading. Women are doing their homework, they’re going back to grassroots but then adding technology and science to back them too. They are creating change in the beauty business to push ideas that will create change, growth for women, and solutions. The people I chose in this blog entry are artists, entrepreneurs, some of you may know and love their work. You know their faces, their style, they have numerous things in common gracing red carpets, appearing on television shows, some music videos, and online appearing on different content. These women are multi hyphenates finding ways to reinvent themselves and their brand. They know they are powerful, influential, stylish, beautiful, and want women and men to feel like their best selves too.

1. Cardi B- Belcalis Alamanzar “the Bronx Bombshell”, rapper, entrepreneur, reality and Instagram star born on October 11, 1992 from New York, NY raised in the Bronx, New York. Just came off of her successful “Little Miss Drama tour” from February-April 2026. Cardi’s tour was considered one of the most successful and sold out tours for the hip hop and rap genre performed and headlined by a female artist. All the while of getting fitted for costumes, hair, conducting meetings, getting ready for the Met Gala 2026, raising 4 children, Kulture,8 , Wave,4, Blossom,2, and Brim, 7 months. Cardi took time to focus on one of her important business ventures. Beauty, Hair cosmetics for women. I remember during the pandemic (2020-2022). Many women and men could not go to the beauty salon, barber shop, hairstylists, or anyone during that time. A lot of our ends were splitting, causing breakage, damage, and poor quality to our roots and growth. We needed a way to maintain our inner and outer beauty while we were quarantined during that time. I remember on YouTube I myself was looking for ways to grow my hair again naturally for more strength, thickness, and length. I was finding ways to increase my protein, biotin levels, how to maintain conditioning, and to find nutrients that will increase my length. Whose video do I see for an avocado hair mask treatment. I see Cardi B’s hair mask in 2020 while I was home during the pandemic. Did I try it? I sure did absolutely.
Long thick hair runs in my family. I had long hair down to my shoulder when I was about 6 or 7 years old. Over the years I had many different hairstyles, cornrows, flat twists, curls, ponytails, and braids. I wanted a low maintenance hairstyle while I can maintain length. I even did a big chop twice once in 2012 and the second time in 2018. It paid off I am glad I did. I learned from Cardi B’s treatments the same nutrients you put into you body as females.
Women we need a lot of protein, iron, calcium, antioxidants, and collagen as we age, as our bodies mature, grow, and to maintain energy. The same goes for our hair, sometimes an avocado honey mask, a rice water treatment, rice mask, are things that will “feed” our hair the same way we do maintain deep conditioning. Does it work I believe it works but you must maintain a healthy diet, vitamins, a lot of fruits, vegetables, water, and milk. Collagen, Biotin, and protein will get you there faster because you will see length kicking in not only with your scalp and tresses. It will get you there with even your eyelashes and eyebrows too. I say all of this because shampoo and conditioner is not only way to get your hair to have the length and thickness you want. Sometimes going the extra mile of proper nutrition, diet, vitamins, blood flow, and foods will increase your chances of thicker natural tresses too. I believe with time, a haircare routine night and day. It will increase more growth.
Cardi B’s Grow Good Beauty products dropped this spring officially on April 15, 2026 this year to a huge sell out. I just checked her website again and her products are still selling out at this moment and is flying off the shelves. I love it because you can tell she knows now how to increase growth naturally for women. She herself experienced low porosity levels with growth in her hair or breakage. She and I are similar with our hair journey we did the wigs, the hairpieces, and did cut or trim our ends to get progression. Again as she says with growing good you need to properly feed your roots. It should be the same process and dedication like with our bodies and plants. We have to take the same initiative to get there to see success happen with our hair too. I believe it’s possible. There’s something about women of color, the traditions, the things we learn in the kitchen growing up, from our ancestors, our elders, that just takes on more growth naturally. No pun intended but it’s true. I think its something powerful that we have to sustain today. If it works you see positive results, and you’re comfortable. Then yes I say continue on with your hair care journey if it works for you. Visit www.growgood.beauty.com.

Beyonce grew up in the beauty business not only participating in beauty or talent pageants as a little girl. Her mother, Tina Knowles is an entrepreneur, fashion designer, and author. She owned a beauty salon in Houston, Texas. Beyonce has learned a thing or two about cleanliness, maintenance, the proper beauty products for all women who were walking in the door of her mother’s hair salon to the ones who just needed conditioning, wanted more growth, or had different hair textures. In 2025, all while touring for the Cowboy Carter tour, she came out with a whiskey brand, Sir Davis after her great- grandfather, Davis Hogue who was a former prohibition era farmer and moonshiner. She also debuted Cecred hair products. Her products were featured in Allure magazine last year in 2025 as one of their top beauty selling products people are loving the flexible hold spray, wrap & set foam, mousse, and silk glaze that keeps away those “flyaways” for your hair. 6. Selena Marie Gomez born on July 22, 1993 in Grand Prairie, Texas has become another woman taking her brand to the next level she has earned billion dollar babe status. If you hear me mention “Billion Dollar Babes” I am talking about powerful women who continue to dominate the Forbes Magazine list as one of the most successful self-made women. It is an achievement remember women we have had to fight for equality in the workplace, our own businesses, and all different industries. Anytime a woman has earned wealth on her own measure. I am behind it 1,000 percent and want other young girls, teens, and women to aspire to that. For them to know their education, value in this world should always be a consideration when doing business.
Definition of a BDB-A billion dollar babe is a woman who has earned money on her own terms, her own efforts, not through any contributions from a partner, parents, but all on their own merits, achievements, their own ideas, and vision. (see also : Million Dollar Babe, Boss Babe).
