Pop Princess Christina ready to claim the throne and liberates herself on new album

You all remember she started out as a mouseketeer first with the “Mickey Mouse Club”. Just recently she’s a fellow New Yorker she is originally from Staten Island, New Yorker born December 18, 1980. She was raised in Pennsylvania with a single mother. She’s been doing this for over twenty years and she’s ready to show the next generation of female and male pop singers this is how you stay on top. Christina is back with a new album; “Liberation” is scheduled for this summer and will be coming out on June 15, 2018. Already teaming up with the woman with the voice of gold, Demi Lovato titled, “Fall in Line” which she will perform this weekend on the Billboard Music Awards. I love the message this is a song dedicated to young girls and teenagers not to settle and to speak their minds. It’s important for young women to learn how to be comfortable within themselves and dealing with all different challenging situations. The timing could not be me more perfect with the #MeToo Movement, after the 2016 election with the Hillary Clinton loss, women still fighting for equality. I noticed women kind of lost their voices just a bit. They have fought for generations to still see the glass ceiling break and to have equal treatment in every aspect of life all around the world.
I heard the song “Fall in Line” this week and I knew I would instantly love it because you have two generations coming together a pop princess of the late 1990s and the new diva on the rise Demi Lovato is pretty incredible because they both are so talented and have these powerhouse voices with huge range and octaves. This song was perfect because you want women to realize that they can address a multitude of issues and topics. It’s their time to step up to the plate and to do something courageous. The song reflects the time and where we would like the next generation the college graduates to take the future in the workforce and in society.
Now back to Christina she has never slacked on empowering women through her music she’s had a multitude of hits since 1998-present time when she came out with her first album, “Reflections” the titled song was featured in the Disney movie, “Mulan”. She had a chance to showcase her vocal abilities with the soundtrack. She has high soprano range probably about 5 octaves the same as Mariah Carey that’s a hard range to get to when you can hit those kinds of notes. I remember hearing Christina’s range in the song “Reflections”, “I turn to you”, or “ What a girl wants” you hear her hit high C notes and her soulfulness within the songs.  I remember as a kid going “Wait a minute did she just hit that note”. Your brain goes “Where did this woman come from?” I even attempted a few times to hit her notes myself when I was younger imitating her singing abilities.  She not only can hit notes in a ballad but also on pretty much any other song or genre. I love the song “Nobody wants to be lonely” it’s a duet featuring Latin pop artist and entertainer, Ricky Martin. Every time I hear the song I am like this one was really genius. Where are these songwriters because you guys made some hits back in the late 90s-early 2000s where are they hiding cause we can use some more songs like that?
Now fast forward to 20 years later you can see Christina is very well seasoned as an artist she can collaborated and work in any genre of music alternative, rock, country, pop, Latin, rap/hip hop, and R&B does anyone remember her collaborations for the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, or when she wrote the song, “Fighter” those are songs you see her develop as an artist. She even teamed up with hip-hop mogul “Diddy” on one of my favorite songs, “Tell Me” from his album “Press Play”. After I heard that song I am like she’s got me hooked I need to go download, purchase, and buy all of her albums. I love when an artist is open to being universal, they want to show their fans I am no one trick pony I can do a multitude of things as a recording artist, a person, and entertainer. She can stretch herself Christina also teamed up with fellow diva and living legend, Cher on the 2010 movie, “Burlesque” everyone go see it cause her voice is incredible on that song too. One collaboration I would love to see her team up with all of her fellow Disney cast mates for a song this would be one for the books. Music now needs to go back to empowering and creating more conscious and awareness like it used to in the 60s and 70s not just making us dance and drop it low. You also want to spread a message something that can give people a chance to think about too. I am putting it out there make some calls get Britney, Justin, NSYNC members, whoever is interested and willing I believe a positive spin can help us heal our souls and hearts in some of our darkest times right now in the twenty-first century. They need to empower this generation and give them something that can change how they think of themselves and conduct themselves too.

Now Christina’s album will drop this summer she just released “Accelerate” this spring of 2018 and this song is climbing the charts already so excited to see her perform it because she’s about to blow away and reclaim the throne. She’s going to show the Ariana Grandes, Demi Lovatos, and new artist Maren Morris, and others “Ladies this is how I do it—let me show you”. Go get them "X-tina" everyone look out for her new album drops June 15, 2018 feel Liberated with Christina this summer.

The first 21st century Black American Princess in Britain

I know she’s going to be the next Duchess but she’s still a princess because after all her fiancĂ© is a prince. She may not be given formally the title of princess but in our eyes as Americans your husband to be is a prince then you are a princess. I saw a little girl when I was walking down the street in East Harlem. I saw her and I thought I wonder if these kids know that they are capable of just about anything now. You can make your dreams come true with faith, perseverance, and confidence. It is important to know your goals and who you are. You need to know who you are as a person and what you would like to achieve.
There’s something beautiful about this moment because you wonder how did we get to such an incredible moment in history and time. It’s a special occasion more than just about the wedding but it’s so much more than that. It’s a chance for little girls to see that dreams do come true.  I am so excited for the next generation of little girls and boys to see that not only in America did we see the impossible become possible with the first biracial American male president and also the first biracial female princess. I hope all of you will be watching tomorrow. There’s so much more I definitely want to discuss with this important and historical moment. It’s groundbreaking and will change how young people will see themselves around the world. That dreams do come true and yes anyone can be a prince or princess.
For some people this may not be an easy transition but the fact that it’s happening to a woman, Rachel Meghan Markle  who is an American citizen and is from California that’s what makes it so significant, so special , she’s a humanitarian, she’s a college educated graduate, she attended Northwestern University, she had a career of her own, a well known actress, and she has a great sense of humor, she’s classy, personable, she can hold her own, and that’s what I am sure the future king will need in his wife as well. So there’s a lot for her to offer to the royal family. We should all be proud an American made it over and we’ve made it into the lineage.Get ready folks tomorrow is the big day all the best to both of their families. Here's a few songs to celebrate and grab your tissues everyone this is going to make us all cheer and maybe shed a couple tears too.

20th anniversary of Sex and the City approaching this summer June 6, 2018

Wow they say time flies by when we are having so much fun enjoying life and everything that comes along with it. Now there is one show that became a big part of me as I blossomed into dating and my twenties too. I am so excited and thrilled to be doing this next blog post because I loved this television series along with many teens, twenty-somethings, thirty-somethings, forty-somethings, and seniors love this show. I have learned so much from this show and I am sure many of you have as well. The fashion and clothing which was styled by Patricia Field, the cast Carrie Bradshaw-Preston,  (The character, Carrie is played by none other than Sarah Jessica Parker,  Miranda Hobbes-Brady (Cynthia Nixon), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattral), and Charlotte York-Goldenblatt who also produced the series as it gained more of its popularity. I love how the character takes us along the journey of her relationships, the ups and downs. It shows the reality of what really happens in real life and relationships.
How our choices, lifestyles, the people we are molding into can affect the other person too. There’s something about the relationship of the women, their bond, and of course the fifth character, “New York City” plays a major part into the show. New York is so diverse and there’s a wide variety of places, knowledge, experiences to be had here in the city whether if you live or you visit here it really did make for great television amongst the cast. The show was on almost 10 years it ended in the spring of 2004 after their sixth season I remember because I was so excited to see the finale I was about 17 I remember I stayed up watching the HBO Special and the series finale episode watching how Carrie Bradshaw got something she wanted so badly gave me some hope to as a teenager to find real love something she had been searching for in all of the men she dated, built relationships with the struggles, her friendship with her 3 best friends helped, healed her heart. It was something I think every woman needs in her life too. You need that emotional support, the healing, and a strong non -judgmental bond between friends. That takes years to build but you can tell with all four women the chemistry with them is incredible and very real. No one can fake chemistry like that on screen. It comes through the actors and actresses and translated very well to all audiences who love Sex and the City. A lot of women emulate and love the bond, friendship between the characters featured on the show.
Now without author, Candace Bushnell the creator who made Carrie Bradshaw and the amazing characters there wouldn’t have been a hit series at all  on HBO and there wouldn’t have been people producing and creating such a great hit series and two films. Everyone is praying and hoping for a third installment maybe John “Mr. Big” Preston and Carrie Bradshaw-Preston will finally have a child or adopt one of their own in the last chapter . I would love to see where the film would take Carrie’s career she was last at Vogue magazine, will she become her own publisher, will she evolve her brand, possibly start her own business or magazine, there’s a lot I believe with characters like them they’re so diverse and interesting women. You can take them on a rollercoaster ride and the audience would love it.
This is a pretty exciting time to celebrate the series summer is right around the corner and I would love to see the sex and the city tour myself.  For more information ma

Make sure you all look out for Sarah Jessica Parker’s shoe and clothing collection, and she’s featured on HBO hit show,”Divorce”,  Kim Cattrall has been featured on television shows, “Upstairs downstairs abbey”, “Sensitive Skin”, “The Witness for the Prosecution”, and “Modus”. Cynthia Nixon is now a 2018 candidate running for governor of New York City, and was featured in the movie, “The Only Living Boy in New York”, and also the television show, “Killing Reagan” back in 2016. Kristin Davis has been featured in movies like “Couples Retreat” (she is hilarious in the film), Jack & Jill, Journey 2, and the series, “Bad Teacher”. All of the women of course no matter where you see them are asked about the characters who they played on this memorable series. It was such a staple, a reflection of the time in the 1990s it had a huge impact on women at that time. So let’s party, raise our martinis, cosmopolitans, Manhattans, and favorite cocktails. Wear our most fabulous outfits, best dressy shoes, and celebrate our girls from “ Sex and the City”. Enjoy ladies at your favorite nightclubs all over the country. =)
