course is home to television shows like “The Braxton Family Values”, “Kendra on

op”, and “The Bad Girls Club”. Now with this television show Millions of women
and men who have watched “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” have been
waiting to see an African American bachelor. Introducing Shawn Bullard, 34 he
is the new “bachelor” and star of the show that features 24 women vying for his
love, attention, and affection on the show. Now on this show there are two
twists to this new series, one his mother, Maggie Bullard and Pastor Ken.
Shawn Bullard is a
former NFL football player and a owner of a real estate development company,
philanthropist, and is heavily involved in his community as well helping to
mentor and develop programs contributing his time to the youth. Now this is
definitely what I am talking about. He’s a successful bachelor on the rise and
this is really a great look. Now for the last 10 years or so with the Bachelor
and Bachelorette: American series. There has been a huge diversity of men from ages (20-35) on
the show: African American men, Hispanic men, Biracial, White, and some
Asian.However there has never
been an African American man in the lead of the role to choose his bride.
Now I actually
would say normally I believe all parents should allow their child or children
to decide who they want in their life romantically and the rest of their lives.
Who will be the best fit for them
that will make them genuinely happy and have their best interest. However, in a
case like this where you do get overwhelmed, you have so much to choose from,
different emotions, backgrounds, morals, values, and you try to in vision who
would be the best person for you to be with as well. It is a hard and tough
choice for the bachelors and bachelorettes on the show. No one else can really
decide like on the other reality competitions where you have a judge and
someone to guide you a long the way.So having a man of faith on the show in my opinion is a great idea
whether if anyone is a different religious background it does help. It gives
the person a better sense of the commitment that they are making as well. It
makes the show a bit more real in my opinion. So you get two real point of
views one from his mother who is the one person who has their child(ren)’s best
interest and she can see whether if the girls are genuine and real. Or who is
only in it for publicity and fame. I also love the fact that this man is pretty much the entire package. I just saw him yesterday (February 20) he was on "The View" talk show discussing and promoting the reality television series. Let me just say aside from being extremely handsome, he really does show a positive example of how African American men can be portrayed in today's age when it comes to reality television. So I vouch for Shawn Bullard he definitely could be brought home to my mother (if I was competing on the television series lol!). Anyway I hope you ladies see exactly what i am talking about because as we know looks are one thing but you can see he really does take care of himself in a healthy way, he genuinely has something to prove and stand for as well. So you know where he is coming from when he says he wants to show young African American teens and young men you can be more of a better example and use it in a positive light to make yourself something as well.
Now I love how they added a religious aspect to the show with, Pastor Ken he can decide who has a great moral compass ,
religious views, and values herself as a woman as well. The show airs on

That’s the first thing that came to my mind the theme from “Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory” (1971) film version with the oompa loompas when I walked inside this store. The only thing this is not
Willie Wonka’s chocolate factory this is healthy, fresh candy, that gives you
pure ingredients, no trans fats, saturated fats, no dyes, and it is delicious
tasting candy. There are no GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) in this
candy, no fructose corn syrup or ingredients that are
not pure for or easy to
digest certain foods. I got an opportunity to work in the store doing a temp
assignment and you know what I am glad I did. It kind of introduced me into
what happens working in a candy store. It was a great opportunity and happy
that I found this cute, quaint little gem in the big city of New York.
There are thousands of restaurants from all walks of life.
That is one of the greatest things about living in New York.You can go to any part of the city and
find some store, a restaurant that you will fall in love with immediately. I
have a bit of a sweet tooth hence the name (Honey Brown Sugar) and I try to
make sure I always indulge just a little bit. Its nothing wrong with treating
yourself let’s say twice a month. This Scandinavian store has just that a large
variety of delicious candies with gummies, chocolate, fruit candies, licorice,
and hard candies. The delicious confections are in a large rainbow arrangement
of sorts. One thing I would tell you the store is visually pure white, you must
be very aware and pay attention to what you are taking and being mindful of
keeping the store neat and pristine.
The managers work very hard on providing each and every
customer with a pleasant, fun, enjoyable, and exciting experience. People from
all walks of life come into the store visiting from all over the world. One
thing they provide their customers with an option to have their candy delivered
and shipped to them.The price of
the candy comes to $12.99 for a pound of candy each. They also specialize and have different Swedish snacks as
well, and I have never seen boxed water one of the coolest ideas ever. Genius
idea! I saw many parents coming in with their little toddlers and adult
children as well. Some of the adults walked away with two or three bags. So
they really enjoyed the shop and place.
When you are come to the west side of the city and you are
tired from shopping down in the Meat Packing District, Midtown, Uptown, and
checking Macy’s Herald Square, or any other store, stop and take a break from
your busy day sight-seeing in New York City and come down to visit the shop

Will Smith is back with his action butt kicking romantic comedy along with newcomer Margot Robbie this February
I love the actor Will Smith (“After
Earth”, “Hitch”, “Independence Day”, “Wild Wild West”, and ) one of my favorite
actors definitely probably since I was a little girl watching “Fresh Prince of
Bel Air” and listening to his music in the 1990s. Now he has had incredible
success over the last 20 plus years: television, movies, music, I have never
seen him do theater but hey you never know. I love him in all roles he makes
you think and you’re well informed on the topic he covers. Now with this new
role he takes a step back into romantic comedy roles you may all remember him
in “Hitch” when he played , Alex Hitchens
a dating consultant in the role assisting and helping couples find the
loves of their lives and dating tips. Now he’s back but this time his role is
more of a bad boy and coaching people how to be con artists this time
around. Of course in this role is
completely different there is more action, more violence, greed, surrounded in
this role. The film also stars Margot Robbie (“PanAm”, “About Time”, “The Wolf
on Wall Street”), Rodrigo Santoro, B.D. Wong, Griff Furst, Adrian Martinez, Robert
Taylor) and directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, The movie is about a
former veteran grifter , Nicky and con artist who finds a young woman and takes
her under his wing to learn how to play the game so to speak. There’s money, cars, fancy vacation
trips, and expensive clothes in the film. It reminds me a little of “Oceans
Eleven” meets
When Harry met Sally” it has a mixture of comedy and romance to
the film. He always does well in roles with action and when he gets to show off
his acting chops as well. So with this role he sort of gets to play the bad guy
but he means well while he’s coaching someone to rob and con people as well. So

rebellious, independent, a pioneer, she’s known for 3 decades as “The Queen of
Pop”. She once told the late, Dick Clark on American Bandstand in 1984,: “he
asked her “What do you want to do as an artist? “I want to rule the world”. I
think she’s accomplished that far more than that. I am talking about the one,
the only, known by one moniker, Madonna. Madonna is back with her thirteenth
recorded album, “Rebel Heart” she’s just in time for spring to release “Rebel
Heart”. Her album will be released March 6, 2015. I have a confession I am huge
Madonna fan actually I probably know more songs than anyone who was born or
alive during that time before I came here to the world lol! I love her hit
singles her party songs like:“Holiday”, “La Isla Bonita”, “Express Yourself”, “Vogue”, “Like A
Virgin” but I also love Madonna when she came out with songs like “Ray of
Light” I used to get up in the morning bright and early watch VH-1 and MTV this
is like 1998 before I would head off to school lol. I would be listening and
watching “Ray of Light”, one of my favorite songs is “Power of Goodbye”,
“Frozen”, I love “Sorry”, “Jump”, “American Life”, “Music” believe me I can go
on and on She’s collaborated with so many artists like Justin Timberlake,
recently Kanye West, Britney Spears, and so many.
I know too many Madonna songs she’s extremely talented of
course not just the singer/songwriter/producer. She is also of course the
master dancer and actress. Madonna’s legs should be insured now lol! For over a
million cause she’s done some incredible work in the entertainment industry.
She’s opened doors for so many women to feel liberated, free, comfortable with
them selves, independent, and just to be themselves whether single or in
relationships. That message is timeless and will be for women for years. I
think if it weren’t for her we wouldn’t have Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Lady
Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, women who just have a way of captivating an
audience with more than their talent. She can really create a whole movement. Madonna was only 23
when she first stepped on to the music scene and had critical acclaim with her
first song while in a lacy white dress on a gondola ride. She is the phoenix who rises, the chameleon,
every single album she has been apart of has completely changed how music has
been made, how people have evolved personally, professionally, and musically.

Madonna’s resume and biography is
incredible if you really had to sit down and get to know this woman if you
didn’t know who she was at all. I am telling you—you would probably learn some
impressive things about her that no one really knew or even realized as well. Her roles have really changed the game
completely. Directing, Acting, Dancing, Singing, Producing, she even discovered
some major talent. Does anyone remember a European group “T.A.T.U” she
discovered them as well from her Maverick record label she formed in 1991. Her
records have surpassed some of her peers, contemporaries as well.
There are still records for many of
her younger fans and singers to achieve that she have not been completed.Incredibly inspirational with the
records she achieved musically: she has done 4 live albums, 6 compilation
albums, 11 E.P.s,3 soundtracks, 3 Remix c.d.s, and 21 Box set albums. Her
albums “Like A Virgin” certified platinum in 1984 whenever you see certified
platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) on an album
means you sold over 1 million units world wide. Every unit is about or close to
(50 cents lets say so if you sell 1 million =50,000,000.00 worth of albums. She
sold 25 million albums for “True Blue” sold 25 million copies in 1986, “Who’s
that girl?” and “You can dance” in 1987, “Like a prayer” went quadruple
platinum in 1989. She sold close to 30 million for second best selling album in
the United Kingdom for the Immaculate Collection.As she continued to evolve in the twentieth century and into
the 21st century she kept evolving and changing with the times, In
1998 “Ray of Light” sold 20 million album I love this album actually one of my
favorites since I first heard it. I used to sing so many of the songs.
“Frozen”, “Nothing Really Matters (Love is all we need)”, “Ray of Light”, and
one of my personal favorite songs, “Power of Goodbye” you really hear Madonna’s
singing voice on this album. She was even in Rolling Stones magazine for this
album as well so I am very happy they agreed back then as well. In 2000, she released “Music” where she
was going for a cowboy country pimp look. She was having a lot more fun on this
album but it did receive major commercial success.
One of her other best albums “American Life” I have this
album I loved it because Madonna has a way of always causing controversy but
then also she’ll send you a couple of powerful messages as well.You may think she’s bragging or has a
lot of bravado but she’s really just educating and entertaining her fans as
well.She has a way of showing you
yes we can dance and have a good time but she will leave you like “Wow! Or
That’s what she really meant”. In 2005, she released another personal favorite,
“Confessions on the dance floor” it had a disco 1970s theme to the album, you
saw her combine and collaborated with more of the younger generation as well.
Favorite song love “Jump” (featured in “The Devil wears Prada” soundtrack),
“Sorry”, “Get Together”, and so many other hits as well. In 2008, she released
“4 Minutes (Save the World) featuring Justin Timberlake. On her “Hard Candy” in
2011 she left Warner Brothers Records and went on to Live Nation records signing
a 10-year contract.She released
“MDNA” November 22, 2012 which MDNA was transformed from the experimental club
drug MDMA (Ecstasy). The album featured more club songs, more songs about love,
the party and club scene as well. Now she is back and will release her
thirteenth album “Rebel Heart” she even tweeted some photos of world leaders:
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela with leather bondage cords around
them. Some disagreed with photos found it offensive but its all in good taste
to actually show people that world leaders who changed the world have a rebel
heart. They were courageous people who were rebellious and fearless. Some
people often criticize another modern day pop queen about feminism and expression.
Madonna was one of the first women to do it and show people that you can say
what you want but women need to be heard. She demanded respect, she opened and
broke doors down for women in the music industry. That’s why she is the queen
of pop she’s a woman who conquered her dream and never ever forgot it though.
She knew what she had to do to make a name for herself, even shedding her skin
literally and figuratively to show I can be powerful, talented, and sexy at the
same time. Plus I will sell over a million albums too and make you talk about
me too. So all hail the queen of pop is back everyone she’s taking names and

Ferocious, Fantastic, Fast and Yes
Furious I have loved these films actually maybe it’s my tough girl side but
loved them because of the beautiful locations they have shot at, the handsome
gentlemen, the glamour, the butt-kicking, the schemes, and most of all the
creativity with these cars
s been crazy. In Spring of 2001 “The Fast and
Furious” series began starring the late, handsome, and multitalented, Paul
Walker (“The Skulls”, “Varsity Blues”, ) (1973-2013) Along with Vin Diesel. Now they have all gone to
have major wild success all over the globe fans love the film. They have six
installments of the film and each time has become better and better.
Now with this seventh film this
will be the last time you ever see Bryan in the film. Also because of Paul
Walker’s passing many of the scenes were filmed 1 year before he passed away.
His two brothers stepped in to help assist with the final scenes I know this
because he was one of the main reasons why I went to go see these movies
actually. I used to keep a poster of him on my wall on my door growing up. So
to honor him again is truly a labor of love completely. He can steal a scene
with his baby blue eyes and his kicking butt skills on screen. He had a way of
grabbing everyone’s attention on screen. He along with the cast has grown truly
and have expanded over and over again.A lot of singers have crossed over into the roles of “Fast and Furious” Many
installments have been made anyone remember “Fast & Furious”: Tokyo
Driftwith Bow Wow (Shad Moss).
Now I am sure you remember seeing rapper/producer, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and
R&B lothario, Tyrese Gibson. All of these people contributed to the series
of “Fast & Furious”. I have been to probably all five of them the only one
I never saw in the theater probably has to be the Tokyo Drift which I have to
be honest was probably better on a tv screen. However, the cast is back again
taking over London this time. To go up against and take down some major competition
making threats.
This film stars Vin Diesel,
Michelle Rodriguez (back to reprise her role has Letty Ortiz), Tyrese,
Ludacris, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Jason Statham,and Lucas Black will all be back this
spring to take over their roles.This film is the second follow up to Tokyo Drift actually so if you
didn’t see it you probably need to catch up on the whole series. I cannot wait

Continuing with the theme of "Love Month"..... Everyone
has that one who got away…..”The one that got away” is the person who you had
strong feelings for or were in love with as well. It doesn’t even have to be
the person you were in a serious relationship with either. It could be someone
who you just have feelings for and would love to be apart of their live too. I
was listening to a lot of people discussing the topic since Valentine’s day is
approaching us.
Is
there anyone who would be the one who got away for you? Is there anyone who
would be the one that got away for “Honey Brown Sugar”? I say “yes” absolutely
well because of social media and getting in touch with people faster it
definitely helps. I think for me most people I have reunited with or linked up
with who were apart of my life overall that has helped me reunite with them .
Although as for the man who may have gotten away from me. I do believe he and I
could make something work one day. For me I believe yes people’s lives do
change and grow but chemistry is something you can never fake. You either have
it or you don’t. I know for he and I if we see each other again one day we’ll
be stronger and better people. I think for people who have social media you
kind of get to see the person or other people grow and continue with their
lives. So you see all of them pretty much, that is one of the things that
allows you to get to know the person. Now as for me and this person. I wish him
always nothing but the best and I am extremely proud of him.
So for some of you
may wonder “Who is the one that got away?” . He will never be revealed until he
and I share that with the world if we reunited.For now you will simply and always know him as
“Handsomeness”. So for the one that got away for others you really have to
think about if you truly want this person, could someone else be your leading
man or woman? That’s the only thing about that. You must decide who you were
happiest with at that time and who would fit into your life now as well. Those
are most important things to consider for yourself.I have been dating when you really think about how long you
really have been dating, the experiences, the people you met in the past up
until now then you know who got away from you. I have been dating since I was
15 going on 16 actually the summer of 2002. So when looking at the days back
then up until now. Yes “Handsomeness” is definitely one of the people who got
away actually. He would be one person who I would make the most sense with
actually. We have a lot in common
with each other on a certain level. I felt the most comfortable with him, we
have great dance chemistry, he’s serious, silly, but also intelligent,
confident, and believes himself as well. So it’s not hard to say who else could
have made me feel or felt that way he definitely was up there.We have way too much in common when it
comes to our personal lives, how we were raised, our goals and what we want in
our lives as well. He’s more realistic I am more idealistic, lol! He would be
the yin to my yang so to speak. We have things in common and major differences
but I think those differences would make our lives more exciting for each
other.
So
good luck to those who still may want to reunite with “the one who got away”.

I am going a bit back….way back
just feeling a bit nostalgic. I am going to tell you about the boy I first
kissed (lol!) I had a crush on this little boy in my school who was everything
to me. I am going to protect his identity but he knows who he is if he
remembers these moments. It was the summer of 1995, twenty years ago. I was 8
years old (yes, little Honey Brown Sugar) was eight lol…well this was way before I became “Honey Brown
Sugar”. I was in third grade and attending Holy Name Catholic School in
Washington, D.C.. We are both the same age actually. He is 4 months older than
me. He had been living in Washington , D.C. by then a few years and I was too.
I first met him in the first grade, he was new in my school and I thought he
was so cute. I used to write him love letters, put my mom’s lipstick on and
kiss the envelope, scribbling his name all over it. All the little girls loved him and it used to irritate me
cause the girls would get mad when I would flirt with him or when he and I had
any moment alone together.
It was so funny my friends teasing
me cause I am attempting to get his attention. I have a confession he is
probably part of the reason I didn’t pass my classes that year either. I was distracted….“Ooooh bad I know”. I
wanted to be with him cause I had strong feelings at that age. It goes to show
you love knows no age…it can come at you when you are just a baby playing with
barbies and hide and go seek.
He and I actually talked on the
phone I did everything I could to get his number, I even had one of my friends
get his phone number. I called him on the phone I was so nervous that I
actually hung the phone up! His mother “*69” (star 69) my Grandmother’s house
phone. My grandmother answered and said “I think my granddaughter must have called
you”. So what happened…his mother came to the school and actually came looking
for me. “Is there a Chloe here?”, “Chloe, I don’t know
a Chloe”. I pretended to
be someone I wasn’t cause I was so scared. I was little and didn’t know what
his mother would say. Then I said “I am Chloe”, I will never forget she said,
“” She said you can call Nicholas”(not his real name) he has a bedtime at
9p.m.”I even remember asking him
“Do you like me?” with the yes, no, or maybe box putting on a piece of paper!!!
(lmao!) I was so little, innocent but one thing I remember the most the night I
called him. I of course was nervous shouldn’t every little girl be who’s about
to make a bold move.
I was in my mom’s bedroom, picked
up our old rotary beige phone, lol. I called his number and we began talking on the phone. That summer was the best
because I shared my first kiss with him while we were attending the day camp
program at our school. I told him I had a surprise for him and I kissed him,
pulling him in the hallway, (Aggressive right?) lol! Hey when I want something
I go for it especially in that situation. I felt like the queen! I told my
little girlfriends and jumped for joy.I transferred going to another school later that year. We never saw each other again, but what
I didn’t realize that actually we could have stayed in touch but God had other
plans in mind.
15 years later in 2010, through
technology we linked up and met up. His family still lives in Washington, I
haven’t spoken to him in a long time cause I have moved on completely. However
one thing I will say the connection was still there, and the rest I will share
in my biography one day. Lol but for now I will say again “Love has no age” it
can happen any moment and time. So find someone who knocks you and blows you
away. Who’s the person you would pull into a hallway?Oh by the way we got caught by this kid too while kissing lol!!!!
But of course nothing really happened. So funny. So that’s one lesson I can
teach you my wonderful readers. Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy Love Month! There is one song that reminds me of him always...lol "Candy Rain" by Soul For Real lol. =)

with you I never read “50 shades of Grey” by E.L. James . Boooo Why didn’t you read
it you’re a writer, I know bad but I didn’t intentionally mean to do that. I
haven’t had the time really to read three books back to back I am reading a lot of other things too. So I am going to
see the movie first hand along with all of you.It’s very self-explanatory though girl meets boy, girl finds
out something very interesting, and then girl and boy fall in love and passion.
This movie is the breakout role for Dakota Johnson (“Social Network”, “Beastly”,
“For Ellen”, “21 Jump Street”, “5-year engagement”, and “Need for Speed”),
daughter of actress, Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson so she comes from
Hollywood film Royalty.She takes
the role as 22-year-old Anastasia Steele a literature student and recent
college graduate who fills in her for her friend, Katherine “Kate” Kavanagh (played by Eloise Mumford) to
interview magazine magnate, 27-year-old, Christian Grey (Jamie Gornan). Gornan has appeared in Sofia Coppola’s
“Marie Antoinette” (2006 film). He won three awards this past 2014 for
Broadcasting Press Guild Award, Irish Film and Television Award, and
nominations.The film is also
starring Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk,Max Martini, Dylan Neal, Callum Rennie, Jennifer Elle, Marcia Gay

each other. The movie takes on erotic romantic novels and turns it into a
highly stylized, sophisticated, modern, and more classy version of a man with
dark and deep fetish. She does not seem to mind this from what we see in the
previews. The film is definitely 100% only I repeat for grown adults 18 and
over. You are not allowed to see this film 100% those who are minors. There is
a lot to the film that many who are just entering high school and college still
may not be able to fully understand completely. It has a great tale to it and
some romantic highlights so its not completely dark or twisted. You will see
many elements to the film but it is 100 percent strictly for adults I want to
reinforce this completely. I try to keep the blog open to those who are 17
& up. So I don’t want parents coming after me at all. Lol!!! This film has
a message though and has gained a huge following of women who love the book and
the characters. This is strictly for women and men who are grown as I said I
really want to reinforce that. So you need to be ready when you see the film.
