Chloe's going to have a Love/Relationship Show

I am working at a company that involves broadcast internet shows. Of course naturally the Media Studies major that I am I want to do my own show. Now to be perfectly honest with you. I did not want to get into broadcast journalism. My intention was to be strictly print and that was it. I was a little bashful about it. But let me be real with you my parents have been taping me since I was a child. How can I not love the camera? Come on now. I even had a videocamera I received too from my stepdad lol. But now I am gonna have to buy my own lolz. Anyway back to the part of me wanting my own show. I have a feeling that something is about to happen if I play my cards right and I work hard maybe I will actually end up with my own show. Or let's just say amateur show for now. I am not a pro but I know I can do this definitely.

I am open to all things in the media: music, print, broadcast, blogging, or whatever is in the media field. I have always been interested since I was a kid probably. Something happened where I knew this was going to be the field that was made for me to get into for my adult life.

But now I know which direction I want to go into. I want to do a webshow on relationships and advice for people. I would love to do this because I will be gaining knowledge in the process as well. I am 23 and yes I am single. Lolz. So while I am a single lady for now. I will be teaming up with three or four other twenty-somethings, thirty-somethings, and maybe even forty-somethings. I want their experience, their stories, their love lifes out there. Not publicly. No names will be disclosed. We will keep everything anonymous it will only be i used to date...this guy, man, dude, boy...i used to date this woman, girl, chick, or whatever term. We will not disclose personal names because the advice is coming from our lives. I do not want to put anyone on the spot who does not want the spotlight at all. If you do and are comfortable with it. It is your call and your name I will mention. For now I will have privacy strictly for everyone who i have dated, met, and who I will meet in the future. I will probably be using nicknames actually so they do have a title at least. My show is going to feature advice for you guys. Also provided by information from books, television shows, family, friends, the public, magazines, newspapers, life in general, and any other aspect of society I can use. I am not sure what the title will be yet. Maybe "Double Dip of Love" or "The Love Doctors come to your rescue". Something catchy and fun but for now. I am interested and this will be happening soon. =)

Childhood and Growing Up in the 1990s

I am feeling a little nostalgic right now. Very nostalgic...I miss when I was a little girl actually. I really do realize how much of being a kid I miss. I have been around a lot of children lately and I was just reminiscing on how it used to be. It went by very quickly. I remember bits of pieces of my childhood happy memories and some that taught me the biggest lessons of my life so far.

TWO OF THE DOLLS MY MOTHER GAVE ME AS A CHILD FOR CHRISTMAS =)>I can truly say I had the best parents when i was a little girl. They treated me like a princess when I look back I remember nothing but really but just love. I was the Toys R Us kid. I definitely probably stayed in Toys R Us a lot back then. Even if I might have been upset or pissed off for anything. Or even if they disciplined me as well.... My parents were there for me every step of the way in one form of fashion. I came from two individuals who were very much in love and met in college. They had me nine years after their union came together. When they met their union defined the rest of their lives and the way things would be for the next generation which is me. Well things changed for me a lot actually. My parents separated when I was seven years old and divorced two years later. Throughout the years I did see my father and I lived with my mother and my life with her of course defined how everything would be from childhood to adolescence to adulthood.

Now I can look back my childhood in the 1990s was fun a lot of great experiences. I grew up during a time where racism, relationships, violence, the war, and everything would affect the generation at that time. I grew up during the time of George Bush the first. Not "Dub-Ya" lol his son, George W.Bush but the first. You know when Ross Perot and everyone was running  presidential office. I used to watch a lot of Nickelodeon on television. I went from being a Nickelodeon feen to an MTV addict lol. I watched "Rocko's Modern Life", "Rugrats", "Wild & Crazy Kids", "Clarissa explains it all", "Barney", of course Sesame Street, "Doug", "Double Dare", and all of the shows in the 1990s featured on Nickelodeon. I even watched "All That" and "Martin". Yes at a young age I watched "Martin", and "In Living Color". I watched a lot of programs that now as young adult I can understand them far better than as could as a child.

Growing up in the 1990s was a great time a lot of things happened that would define our generation and how things would be from there on for the next 20 years or so.

During my childhood I played with barbies, of course and I wanted a bright pink Barbie jeep. I loved "Beauty & the Beast", and all of the disney characters. I played a lot of Board games and one game I played was Jumanji. One of my favorite movies was "Harriet the Spy" and "Matilda". My stepsister and I would act like Harriet and spy on people LMAO!!!!. I went to my very first sleepover when I was about seven. My mother allowed me to have sleepovers too when I got older too. I had a ninth birthday party at Discovery Zone. I had a lot of parties up until now at age 23. So my childhood in the 1990s was fun. I can't describe anything else better i went to concerts at an early age. I was surrounded around music. I met my first celebrity when I was about 10 years old. I went to summer camp, I was a girl scout for "The Cadets", I went on my first plane trip at age seven to visit my great-grandmother and I began to travel on planes independently on, trains, and more. I had a sweet sixteen birthday party. That's before all the Sweet 16s on MTV became really large and successful. I spent my childhood in my mother's hometown St.Louis and I would visit my grandmother while she lived in Brooklyn. My grandmothers now who i adore I still visit whenever I have the chance now. I am very happy to say thank you to my parents. I love you guys. I am glad to have had been a child of the 1990s. So I can truly say my childhood was blessed. No matter what good times or bad I had a great childhood and teenhood.

I dedicate this blog post to my parents and a very special man who has been there for me as well. I love you guys so much. I guess because my graduation is coming up this year. I am just glad I had a chance to write this. Thanks for everything. I love you guys so much. =)

ESCARGOT OR FILET O FISH? You choose

When it comes to food I am a true "foodie" like my girl, talk show host, Wendy Williams says. I love food and I enjoy cooking and eating. My family and friends will tell you the truth. So while we are in our recession period right now and pretty soon of course we will be moving along in the economy will be up in running again. Let me ask a question to you all my dear blog readers.

Would you rather sacrifice pinching pennies for a healthy meal let's say that is $25.00 it comes with grilled shrimp, linguini, a salad, and a dessert with mixed berries in a vanilla cream sauce.

Or would you rather a 5 ounce cheeseburger, french fries, a chocolate milkshake, or pepsi that costs $5.00 dollars. It really depends on you my friends. But I know I would eat both personally. But my point is why does it cost so much money to eat healthy fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, whole wheat, milk without hormones, or milk with hormones. Why do you have to pay 6.00 dollars at the grocery store for soy milk!?! I am not understanding this at all. I just want to know why do we have to sacrifice our bodies: our heart, our brains, our blood vessels, our bones, everything that makes us vital, alive, and human beings. Then also our paychecks.

I can cover so much in this story believe me from obesity, lack of healthy food in education, gym class, the works believe me. Even how the FDA tries things too. Don't mess with me. I know that we live in a society where we all have to earn a profit. I want to earn one too. But does that really mean I have to choose cheap food that may cost my health in the long ?

That does not make any sense at all...why should I sacrifice my body because you are charging for a $3.00 dollars for a cheap meal. What about a delicious meal that can not hurt your wallet at the same time. I don't understand that? It does not really take a genius to come up with a menu that will give everyone the benefit of what they truly desire and want. One you want to satisfy your craving for being hungry. Two you want to spend money on food. Three you don't want to hurt your pockets because you still want to save for the future for other things you want to do in your life.

How can you do it all? without sacrificing your health?, Sacrificing your money and financial status. What are you really doing to yourself? To me I believe the government should come up with a plan that will enforce a way for our children, teens, adults to eat food in restaurants, at home, and purchase food at the grocery that will not only help us to have nutrition. It will also provide your child with a healthy meal, fulfilling activities for your child and you can still have the time to give your child everything they need body, mind, spirit, educationally, and academically. A child going to a school to benefit themself should help them in a way where they are allowed to receive everything that will be healthy for them. Teachers giving them the right information, Gym teachers giving them physical education for their classes, The cafeteria giving them food provided by the FDA not some company shipping food over from Wisconsin or somewhere. The government and FDA need to team up because all of these restaurants and our own lives will be at stake if you can only afford a three dollar meal that will give you heartburn, diabetes, cancer, or any other unhealthy disease. There has to be a way believe me. What can you really do? I guess maybe Obama, Michelle, or someone in congress or in office can come up with a way to give us all everything we need in the future. That should be another thing on his agenda that would provide his own family with a benefit. How do we make our country and world healthy at a limited cost without truly hurting them. So ladies and gentlemen you tell me do you want the Escargot for $40.00, the salad with the fresh vegetables for 10.00, or the burger that is $5.00 that may cause you to have health problems because of all the oil and grease.

So You choose Escargot or Filet -O-Fish?
