Sister Souljah's new book

I am very excited to get my hands on this book. I along with many other young women have come to love this book "The Coldest Winter Ever" written by activist, writer, and former hip-hop star, Sister Souljah. I am waiting very patiently for her to take her shot at making this book into a film. This story has to become a film soon because the characters, the story line, the dialogue, and the theme of the story will do something that will change your view of how your supposed to see the world. You see the world behind the eyes of a young woman named, Winter Santiaga. You come along into this gritty, dark place in New York where she is the princess of a father who is a drug dealer kingdom. He's pretty much known around her neighborhood as the man in demand. You get to know everything about her life the rich characters who many can identify with and who you can relate to as well. You even get to know about her unrequited love, Midnight a man who she adores and loves so much. Yet does not have the same feelings because of her way of thinking and how she was raised.
Sister Souljah let's people into Midnight's world she wrote a book based on the character in 2008 and now is back for a follow up edition to Midnight's story that will be released this Spring 2011. I am excited because I love the way she wrote it and her imagery, her voice, everything she makes them so realistic it's unbelievable sometimes. Her book will be released this April 2011 so look for it in stores if you are interested and a fan of young adult novels, a fan of African-American writers and literature. This book is definitely for you.
