The age of Adaline will show you how she stops the clock on youth

I did not tell you my readers I was a huge fan of the television show, “Gossip Girl” on The current CW Network formerly the WB Network. “Gossip Girl” ran for about 5 years and was later cancelled in 2012. Loved the show, the fashion, where they shot the show right here in my hometown and birthplace New York. Oh little fun fact they shot the show on my college campus too. (Hunter). The show ended but there are always reruns to watch.  However, all of  the stars of the hit television series all took off and they have all gone to have major success in many films and movies.  One of their breakout stars is the beautiful model, actress, Blake Lively-Reynolds(mother now to a baby girl and wife of the very handsome, Ryan Reynolds) Blake will be starring the film as Adaline Bowman also stars Harrison Ford (“Star Wars”, Indiana Jones series (from 1984-2008) ”, “American Graffiti”, “What Lies Beneath”, “42”, “Paranoia”, and “Ender’s Game”), Ellen Burstyn (love her in one of my favorite films, "The Exorcist", “The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood”, "Requiem for a dream"). 

The age of Adaline is a film that reminds me right away of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”.They have similar themes. The theme of the film is life, love, and staying youthful in your life. One thing as women and men we have a need to keep up with the times, evolve, grow, and to maintain a youthful spirit. If you have that kind of outlook where you want to maintain and feel that way that is something people should strive for as well.  In this film Adaline has a deep secret after a freak accident with her car. She lives for eight decades but maintains and continues to be her age throughout the film.

The film is set in the beginning in 1931, She ends up gaining a unique and special gift. She gets the gift of youth. She gains an opportunity and gift of never aging.  She maintains her youth and stays at the age of 29 through out the film. She even has a daughter who ages along with her. Within the film her secret is almost revealed that she has lived her life and maintained her youth. She meets different men who she begins dating and falls in love with as well. They all wonder how she continues to maintain her appearance and still never push on forward.

This film looks like a beautiful, warm, touching and story that will definitely appeal to all of us who have ever thought about age, getting older, changing, evolving, and maintaining our youth as well.  It gives you an opportunity to imagine the fantasy of being young and twenty-nine forever. I cannot wait to see the film. It will be out this spring , Friday, April 24, 2015.  The website will be coming soon and I will have it all for you soon.
